  1. Nevermind. I already found the issue. It was an outdated script. it was for helicopter and vehicle effects that I didnt like anyway so it all worked out. Thank you

  4. I did that and it crashed again.
  5. i never uninstalled anything... it just comes up with an error saying it cant be opened. EDIT: I can open it now with no issue. When I start GTA it loads normally then when I get in game everything is fine until i spawn in a car. then it crashes. and sometimes it says it crashes and it generates a report, but it never crashed. I can still play the game and spawn in cars fine.
  6. I uninstalled the .oiv before renaming it to _mods and testing it
  7. too late.... sorry why does it have to be _mods and not just mods? it says it crashes and does everything that it does when it crashes but when I click on the GTA5 icon on my task bar it pops up the game like it never crashed. I dont know what to do now another issue.... I cant open any of my patchdays.
  8. theres a gun replace and a ped change and some vehicle replacements for the .oiv, theres an uninstall
  9. Thank you but im looking at what i installed recently and could it be an .asi? Or an add-on vehicle?
  10. what files would it be causing the problem because i didnt have and issue until a few days after i installed the .oivs and i didnt install anything after that.

  13. thank you. I was just installing .oiv's about vehicle top speed and deformation and Realistic Guns and Weapons. That may have changed the vehiclelayouts.meta
  14. IDK but i think some .OIV files I installed may have but I dont know the location of the vehiclelayouts.meta so i cant change it back to the original
  15. Right about when the new update came out for GTA, I started crashing when I get into any car (add-on, modded, vanilla, etc.). I don't know what else to do. CrashReport_636405291956219595.rcr
  16. ok??? ok that did not work. I named the mods folder to _mods and it didn't do anything
  17. Ever since the update a week ago for GTA, every time I spawn in a car, my game crashes. I don't know what caused this to happen but it just does and I don't know what to do. Please help me. :)
  18. Never mind. I have found out how to do it. I removed the clean version of GTA from the common folder then I re-named my modded GTA to Grand Theft Auto V and then verified the integrity of the game and it updated.
  19. Hello, my issue is that I reinstalled GTA 5 so that I can have a clean version. Now, steam is only registering the clean version of GTA and not updating my modded one. I just need help updating my modded one so I can play LSPD:FR with the new update. Thanks!
  20. I have found it in patchday 10 there was an s_m_y_sheriff_01 in there so i took it out. thanks for the help. this community is getting better everyday!

  22. how do you back up your gta 5 files?? Edit: I found that i took out my dlcpacks folder in my mods and it went back to the original sheriff.
