Blue lights for the Latest CVPI-1.7L could not be more simple. Step 1. Down load Techengages Custom Visuals & Blue Light Pack 1.4.20 Now dig thru those folders and find BLUE LIGHT TEMPLATES and drag to your desk top from the zipped folder. Next look thru there and find the file named "emerglights_emis_arjent" and drag that to your desktop. Now open your OPENIV program and go to your folder in witch you installed the car too, example for me is patchyday5 in DLPACKS,, Then find the file Sheriff.ytd and open it. look thru there and you will see the file/picture of the red and blue template named "emerglights_emis_arjent" ,,Now REPLACE that with the Blue one and save and exit Sheriff.ytd and that's all for the car. Now go to your CARVARIATION file in MPchristmas2 and right click on CARVARIATIONS.META and Extract to your desktop and then open it. look thru there and find the "<modelName>sheriff</modelName> scroll down from there looking for <sirenSettings value="1" /> and just change the 1 to 14 and save,,then drag the Carvariations file back to OPENIV in wich it came from and your Done ,,You will now have all blue lights. Also make sure <lightSettings value="1" /> is 1 so it should look like <lightSettings value="1" /> <sirenSettings value="14" /> hope this helps. The car looks awesome with blue lights. Its not that simple of an install when you hafta alter other things like RDE ( Realism Dispatch Enhanced mod ) then you hafta alter allot of other things to get the car to work,,ive ben thrue it myself,,I have less hair from it now,,,If you have a virgin game with no cars in it it is rather strieght forward to install this car,,,But when every car you download tells you to REPLACE your already alterd carvariation files and Vehical meta files and carcols,,and visualsettings,,Shit goes wrong fast,, with an OPENIV package install . And another thing,,Yall gotta stop giving people shit for not knowing how to do this stuff,Not everyone is as smart as some of you guys and Ladies,,,Just couse you know how to doo it don't mean your better or smarter then anyone,, We all in this game together,,may as well TEACH someone how, then Bitch at em for not understanding,,and lets be honest,,Most Instructions for installing this stuff is crap in the first place,,Most of us all Learned the hard way and screwd up are games and had to start over. For some strange reason my settings are <lightSettings value="1" /> sirenSettings value="1" /> and it still works, ,But im also using this car as POLICE,,and SHERIFF both carvariations in mpchristmas2. But at the same time im Using RDE (Realism Dispatch Enhanced mod) and I Hafta install the car files in RDE to replace those cars 2 may have something to do with it. One thing I did notice is my tail lights no longer wig wag. Not sure what file to look into to fix that problem.

It does take some self teaching that's for sure.

Words can not describe how insanely well done this car is,,,I have played with it for Hours ,Cant Bitch about one thing. It has every thing I want in a car and More. Wish this was set up to replace Police1 took forever to get police4 working with all black paint jobs and blue lights,,,Is it easy to change the file names to Police and do the same for Vehicals Meta ?

dezie10495 try this one,,ive ben testing it for days with all of Bxbugs cars,,works awesome and none of that wig wag shit,,and you can still operate your high beam head lights. the reflections from lights are the same as the other carcols files out there rite now but this one works best with BxBugz cars,,there the only cars I use.

When I install this Carcols.ymt file with openIV it screws up the lights on my BxBugz123 ---2011_ CVPI_V1.4A car,,all the lights are out of place,,it only happens to that one car! Any ideas what I can do to fix this? if I place the original carcols file back in the lights are fine. Hope you can point me in the rite direction to fix it, couse I love this mod. the car I am using I had this very same problem,,I just had to remove the carcols back to original one,,and it messes up my lights on Bugz other CVPI 1.4 car,,and the lights are all over the place.
