  1. I recommend You using this mod: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/weapon-weight-updated-102812-f10257. You can easily turn off the features that You don't need, choosing only an ability to drop guns. It can be useful when collecting evidence on the crime scene. To start LCPD:FR with guns other than default, You can use trainer before entering the PD. For what I know, You will have chosen guns when starting a duty.
  2. What about that free upgrade, it approves which version of Windows 10? Edited: Alright, nevermind, it depends on previous Windows.
  3. I spotted several topics, as well as single posts, about stability of LCPD:FR on the newest Windows, as well as those about LSPD:FR. However, me as probably most of You, don't use computer only for performing a duty. So, is it worth to upgrade my OS to Windows 10? I have in mind increased stability of FR, however I heard somewhere that there are disadvantages in typical working on the new OS. What's Your opinion about it?

  5. I would like to hear siren signal when pulling car over, using ped model other than cop. For the moment, there is total mute of a player/his vehicle.
  6. Hello guys, I would like to ask You, if this idea for a gameplay in GTA IV multiplayer (using LCPD:FR, of course) can be realised without any serious inconveniences. There are two teams: NOOSE and terrorists. First one is combined with about 8 players, second one has only one, or few. Main objective of NOOSE agents is to protect two toolbooths, located on different bridges. They have one Enforcer on each bridge, one Police Patriot on each bridge, and one Annihilator or NOOSE Cruiser, only one per bridge. The main objective of a terrorist is to make his car explode when passing through the toolboth. This player have a ordinary skin, similar to peds that drive their cars on every bridge. NOOSE agents are equipped with M4 rifles, Snipers or pistols, they can refill equipment near Enforcers. The terrorist has only AK-47 with few clips and a pistol with multiple ammo. He also have bombs, that can be attached to every vehicle. If I am correct, we can't stop other player by LCPD:FR, right? So, NOOSE agents must look forward to suspicious behavior of peds that coming to the bridge. Every player should has installed modification that disables players' blips. Vehicle detensity will be set to high, so not every car can be checked. There is in case of terrorists to look like every typical ped, in order to succesfully explode. There can be more terrorists, so when under attack, cops from one bridge can come to others as a backup, or stay in case of waiting for second attack, thinking that first one was false. Cops would have refillable lives, however it takes time so quick kill every one may cause terrorists to win. Some role play, some action, every one has an objective. What do You think about it?
  7. Hey, maybe some of You can explain me his kind of warning (bolded below), converting value? It's weird, as well as weird is time of this log (19:30), because I did this minutes later. Also, I don't have NumPad2 in any of keybinds (even in controller settings, I checked it). I would like some help with this. Thanks.     Three variations of FIB computer screen, pretty simple but nice for the eye. To install, change name of chosen file to ,,mainmenu" and move it to ,,LCPDFR" folder in Your GTA directory, replacing the default one.
    Unmarked Vapid Interceptor is a great vehicle for every operative, working on the streets of Liberty. Its dimensions make this car perfect for ramming (PIT maneuvers or storming the hideout), however front window may provide a driver/passenger to be vulnerable to gunfire. Handling of this model is similar to FIB Buffalo, which isn't a defect. Body of the vehicle is susceptible for deformations after collision, however engine and overal main structure is pretty durable. Worth noticing is variety of paintjobs available with this model, as well as variety of colors, so You can drive black special cruiser, unmarked patrol or LCPD buffalo. Low poly fits the game's environment, colors are visually nice for an eye. No crashes or texture flicking spotted. Deserves 5/5.
  9. I understand, I just think some minor updates for LCPD:FR would be nice, not exactly in the near future. Edited: For example, a pullover sound, when using other ped slot, to be siren signal, instead of total mute. It would be easy to do, I think, as well as a nice, minor feature.
  10. You know, if it would be one of many ,,First Response" mods. But it is that one, that first. I don't request concentrating even 1% of effort giving to LSPD:FR to enchance LCPD:FR, but I just want to have an awareness, that some things may be upgraded, if not added. It's like GTA V, without IV (and some other games), probably GTA Five wouldn't exist. It is worth to keep it in mind. Also, some may just prefer East Coast style, working in a big city. Maybe it's easiest to say rather than script, however effort put to create 1.0 version of LCPD:FR shouldn't go to waste.

  13. I have a question about in-game video editor. Namely, if I play the game on, let's say, medium settings, will saved clip has only this kind of quality? There is no way to change it to high settings, for example before turning on editor, in Options menu?
  14. I don't like the idea of abandoning LCPD:FR. I agree that LSPD:FR has higher potential, in term of talking about modding. However, what would be if GTA VI will be released in a few months, having even higher potential? LSPD:FR would share the fate of its older cousin so quick? I don't request from developer to come back to upgrading LCPD:FR, but this is that one modification that beginned everything. I think that every cop from Liberty City should have awareness, that some minor updates can ocur in future versions. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the time developers give to enchance LSPD:FR modding, but I strongly believe that GTA IV with LSPD:FR should be remembered, not falling to some kind of oblivion.
  15. It looks like I removed a partition, without uninstalling LCPD:FR. So, is there any way I can do it, fix it?
  16. Trying to use LCPDFR Diagnostic Tool (configure installation function) makes a window pop-up, with text: No settings found in N:\... . I don't have LCPDFR installed on that partition, however I had some time ago. Now, I am using different partition, yet this application doesn't detect it. If I use ,,Advanced Mode", I can find my installation. This doesn't interrupt my gameplay, but I would like to know what is going on, especially when the app asks me ,,A new one is being created". I'll be grateful for every answer.
  17. Hello fellow officers! I would like to share with You my idea to play LCPDFR, making the gameplay more realistic, but also well balanced and fun. I encourage You to do the same in comments, if You have some unique ways to enforce the law in LC. This is very a important aspect of the gameplay to me, namely overall weapon stats and behavior. Probably most of players do some roleplay during patrols, especially taking cover or calling for help in urgent situations. However, what's the point of taking cover from a gunman, when with basic ammount of health and armour (default for Niko), You aren't vulnerable to bullets. You can take, let's say, twenty shots from a pistol, still standing on both legs. There is also lack of sense of calling for backup, when You are able deal with whole gang by yourself. That's why I use several mods to increase level of realism, these are: Modified weapon stats (ex. making kill with pistol after about third shot, but making enemy fall down with first or second), bullet spread and recoil (now You will need to aim carefully, shooting short series from carbine) and bullet impact mod (it makes You a need to taking cover, because even if one shot won't kill You, it can make You fall down, vulnerable to enemies). Now, every right kill is much more rewarding, also encountering gang members can be pretty stressfull. All of this makes the game feel much more realistic, with the city in need of protection. No MP5 drive-by's etc.. I don't know why youtubers don't use some of these modifications, especially those who make ,,realistic patrols".
