started a new game and the problem still persists :(

yea, but it'll happen in free roam too.

hey all, was playing campaign, when out of the blue, i tried targeting some guy, pressed 3 and the game crashed. now everytime i start it and press 3 at someones head, i get a script could not start error. browsed the forums a bit and saw that other ppl have had this but no real answer was found other than change permissions to run as admin/change compatability mode, but i'm on windows xp, so none of that really matters.

wow nvm.. i just tried it with the left alt instead of the right alt and it said report to the nearest police station which im guessing is the right response

Hi. So i started the game with dsound, and once i pressed alt p, it said duty forced at the bottom of the screen, but nothing else happened. then in like 3 min, the game froze for 2 secs, a error report dialogue came up, but the game un crashed and kept playing as it did before it crashed. tried it then with xlive and the same thing happened minus the crashing/uncrashing bit. diagnostic log attached
