    I had this problem the other day and this fixed mine. If you go to the link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 and make sure to download the x86 one and then it worked for me.

    Hello, I am just wondering if someone could possibly help me. I am new to GTA 4 and LCPDFR and when I have run the auto installer I am getting the error in the title when I load the game. It does not impact on me playing the game however I can't load any scripts. I have attached a picture of the Diagnostic Tool, below is a list of my system specs (from dxdiag). I am unsure where to find the actual log files but if someone lets me know I will get those and copy them over too. I would be grateful for any help! Thank you!
