  1. LSPDFR .4 is far from trash. 0.3 arguably relied heavily on modders to come in and add more features, but 0.4 has added some of those to the mod. 0.4 has a lot of improvements and features that no other mod has added. Yeah, no, that's not happening. How would that be easier, exactly? What's easier is having all these mods in ONE PLACE instead of people making their own sites and acting like this is such a terrible place. LSPDFR's community does have its issues, but all websites will have them. If these people are gonna make their own site, at least have your mods uploaded to both places. There are probably modding sites out there that have an amazing, must have mod but no one will ever know because they chose to have a personal site that only three people know of. By the way, saying someone's work is trash, then saying "I mean no disrespect" is still disrespectful. There are various other ways you could've worded this post to get your opinion across, and you chose the worst way. LC/LSPDFR didn't have to be made, yet they were for our entertainment, try showing gratitude to the mod that you probably play every single day or at least regularly.
  2. The highway patrol pack is done. 🙂 BCSO pack will be another day or so.
The white BCSO texture that matches your other pack is what I've been needing! All hail the Hummer! Nice job on all the liveries, they look really good.
  3. Yes, but for a very different reason. PM me if you're curious, not gonna get into it here.
  4. That's ironic. I just started working on Tactical Donut's Highway Patrol pack last night because I also use it. I should have it finished within a day or so, I'll tag you in the comments when that one is done. His BCSO pack will probably be in three to four days depending on how long his other pack takes.
  5. This has already been discussed. 🙂 TL:DR Bejoljo is not happy with LSPDFR and made his own site where you can get said mods. https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
  6. This is a false positive. All mods on LCPDFR/LSPDFR are safe and can be used. You may need to add the GTA V folder as an exception in your AV.
  7. It's not that people just want one mega author who does every mod imaginable. It's about convenience, quality and trust. With Bejoljo, we know his mods will be top quality and we know they will get updated, fixed, etc While I can sympathize with newer plugin devs, they shouldn't be trying to compete to begin with. During the course that I've been here, I've noticed that some devs will blatantly make the same mod that someone else did, albeit it looks different, but offers no better functionality or features. Their intention was to get the downloads by mimicking someone else's mod. However, I like mega authors and mega mods because then you don't have 10 people making the same exact mod, all trying to milk downloads. I do like variety, and I do think it's nice if people make sister mods - not competiting, just there for variety - but personally, I'd rather have a big name I go to for my mods. I'll still try the mods others put out, but if I don't like them, or I don't like a certain feature, look, etc I'll have the option to go back to the one before. Lets look at Albo. For the longest time, his mods were the must haves. The issue was that all his mods were VERY resource intensive and required ALL of his mods in order to work. (Granted, he later removed the requirement of having all his mods, however it was claimed that performance might be bad without all of them). Bejoljo stepped in and condensed AM and TP into one single mod - and best of all, it didn't have the fps issues. You still needed SmartRadio, and still do as it's an amazing mod. My point is, there's always improvements that can be made. Bejoljo started off as a no name (no offense to him) who rose to be the one that makes the mods we all desperately want in our game. With Bejoljo gone and possibly not coming back (although we all hope he does), the stage is set for someone to take his place. Does that mean someone will attempt it? Not a clue. Going back to what I said in the beginning, trust. There have been a lot of authors who made lower quality mods and/or lower quality and never improved upon them. We, all of us, we want to use a product that is by someone we know and trust. Would you use a car from a big name manufacturer that you trust, or a newer, shady manufacturer that says they can give you the same car for a lower deal? People want the product from the source that they trust and know, this applies to everything in life. What I have discovered is that this really only applies to plugins. I've donwloaded a good majority of cars from this site, including cars from people who just registered all the way to people who have been here for years. For vehicle mods, 'big names' is nice because you know what quality to expect, but when you see a brand new face uploading a vehicle, you get excited to see what they are bringing to the table. I think the ultimate "issue" here is that it's really a race to make a mod no one else has thought of. Stop The Ped is an example of this. Albo thought of AM, TP and Smart Radio, the latter is the only mod that has not been remade by someone else. Smart Radio hasn't been remade because, in my opinion, it's perfect, and apparently everyone agrees. Personally, if Bejoljo had kept his mods here, STP would never have competition because it is perfect. Eventually, there is a chance someone would make a sister mod similar to STP, but I doubt that would be competition - it'd be personal preference.
  8. Just wanted to point out, these liveries can be used on ELS vehicles. When it comes to liveries, ELS or non ELS doesn't matter.
