Now I know its not mine, but WafuTom's last upload was in 2010, and I highly doubt he/she would be active again. So here's the ELS NHS (National Health Service) Liberty City Ambulance I dabbled up over the course of a few hours upstairs in an attic. When I get the chance tonight, I'm going to test it out by installing it, after furiously trying to figure out how to get ELS working. If it DOES work, however, I'm sure as hell uploading this thing.

So vehicles have been installed. But I can't seem to get ELS to work. Now I can't fix it right now (I'm on holiday), but I remember I put in all the ELS V8.51 files, put the Police1 and Police2 slots to the ELS cars, and got the controls out. Now I remember that if ELS was installed, a street name marker would show up at the bottom of the screen. It didn't. So hastily, as I was running out of time, I tried to activate the lights. They didn't work - no bleeps from the ELS mod or anything. So as of now, ELS is not working. Advice on simple installation? I'm not good at modding GTA, I hate using ELS, and I'm only using ELS for non-LCPD:FR gameplay.

So just now, I've decided to rip out all of the car (and potentially the lone weapon) mods I have installed on my GTA IV save. This is because I'm going to do something big - make some British Liberty City playthrough, as I think the GTA V cars modding is not going to get anywhere because TrafficFlow makes traffic and peds disappear, and emergency services, funnily, act all stupid. Which brings me to my first set of questions: Is it possible to fix traffic and peds disappearing with TrafficFlow, or is this not possible? Why does the responding emergency services thing make emergency vehicles drive the wrong way down Star Junction? And now for something rather different. I have this police mod which gives GTA 5's Interceptor and Stanier City of London and Met Police liveries. Now another question: Judging from the brightness of the police lights in the screenshot, the ELS version at that time seems to be one from before ELS V8. Are these cars compatible with ELS V8? And finally, as someone who probably won't play LCPD:FR unless I really want to, what mods would you reccomend to make Liberty City more British? Responses would be gladly appreciated. EDIT: Most important question highlighted in bold. Makes the game hardly bearable to play.

KCOM user here, still waiting for that lightstream. Sorry for bump, just announcing so, because if I don't have fast WiFi, GTA V is impossible to even start up because of yuge update. Also, Starmix, subtly creeped out by your avatar choice. Guess I have great expectations for the newest episodes of Family Guy.

Some people can be insulted in different ways. But while I wait for capable internet to come to update my GTA V, I think it's time we put an end to this debarcle.

Note to mods: if this thread goes to plan, you can pin it So right now, as I play my yet-to-be-high-performing PC version of GTA V, I'm at a loss, looking for the vehicles.rpf folder. I remember it being in an update folder, but that might not be true. So as of today (7/4/2016), where is vehicles.rpf? Also, this thread can be used as info for where vehicles.rpf is if the location does change over time. So if the location of the file changes, you can post where it is on this thread.

NOPE. One of the 'purged' here. Next will be one of the big devs on the site NOT directly connected to LSPD:FR (excluding ex-LSPD:FR devs).

I must digress - installing ELS V8 was a pain - it was hard to install and understand, and it crashed my game. So I'm pulling a Lundy - I'm for default lighting vehicles.

Stuff the LAPD used up until 1995 - all nice and textured by the lore-friendly livery gang.

Oh please don't tell me this is coming out soon. We've not got enough ambulances or fire trucks for the game, let alone police vehicle REPLACEMENTS for some slots, and when this comes out, it'll be just like GTA IV - 90% ELS, 10% Non-ELS. All I want to do right now is play a modded story - I don't really want to play LSPD:FR. But that's my opinion, not yours.

As someone who is about to start modding potentially TOMORROW (:D), I've already set out my aspirations - GTA V set in 1995. One big kicker is how 2010s the game is, and I'll have to deal with that in stages. On that note, I would like for someone to find/create a siren pack of LA area emergemcy vehicles around about 1995. I have a keen attention-to-detail, and minor things trouble me in life. Sorry if that was slightly rude, I couldn't really paraphrase my request so well. Just...I dunno, watch some LA Riots footage for inspiration. They've got good stuff on them videos.

The BSCO are about as mysterious as freaking unicorns. And I know, Rockstar may have been too lazy to add them, or they didn't have enough time, but what about your reasoning? Do they even exist? Did you replace them? Post your reasons why, if you do have some. I, for one, have worked out my reasoning - for my GTA V game set in 1995, the BCSO were almost fully dissolved after the LSCS took over patrol operations - the only remnant of the force being their yet-to-be replaced 1992 Caprice 9C1s, and even then, Los Santos officers are the ones who drive them. I know, many of you may not have a reason, but it'd be interesting to know. Even if it's on the fly, or you don't even care about the BCSO.
