Here where i live in Houston, we have mostly white (though i've seen some B&W as well. Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States so we have many fleets) cruisers. in my particular county, the cruisers have Red, Blue, Yellow, and white lights. We also have a small fleet of sleek 2011/2012 model shelby mustangs, pure creamish-white, that are unmarked and are slicktops. They have Red and Blue lights only, and are typically used on the roads around our downtown area to pull people over for speeding it seems. I have ELS and LCPDFR, when i'm in-game, i can't use G key to blast the horn, it just does the siren no matter what lighting mode or anything i am using. But i see people in videos on youtube patrolling and they have a horn they use as well. I'm using the Sigmaster Delta Siren by SharpCommand.

I think really just more and new callouts would be great. I know some of this is in another mod.. but i prefer LCPDFR by far. So i would suggest and would LOVE if some of these were added.. VIP transports with the chance that you could be ambushed by hostile enemies trying to rescue the prisoner. Bank robberies, calls that could be the same or similar but with different text for RP, ex. house break-in, car accidents would be cool. Etc.

That's what i thought! Another benefit of it, is that if you use this method, then when you get out of cruiser, etc. in-game, you won't be able to hear it. Whereas if you just ran it in the background in a browser or so, you'd have to minimize and turn it down. Just serves as a more realistic and simplified experience, in my opinion. I'll record it! :]

Hey everyone, i'm still relatively new to LCPDFR, and i've been asking and receiving so much help from you people it's insane. But thankyou! Just wondering, would it be helpful, (and would you like it) if i recorded my local police radio for 30 minutes - 1 hour, and converted it into an MP3 file, so that you can put it in your independance music folder in your GTA folder, and listen to it in your cruiser while patrolling? (All you have to do is change your car sound, to be able to use radio in your cruiser in-game). This way, you wouldn't have to run it seperately minimized on another window, or something. @Iconography made a simple tutorial on how to enable the radio in cruisers, so if i do this - it can be used after you follow his simple tutorial. Also, i live in Houston. 4th largest city in American, so it would be some busy radio you could imagine. :]

I try it multiple times, and it usually just ends up giving me the pistol, then after that if i keep trying; it just holsters my weapons and unholsters them.

I did a fresh install and have LCPDFR .95, and i selected to download taser and everything that it said i should when i installed LCPDFR, and it said it was successful, no errors. In-game, when i try and draw my taser using ALT+T, it either doesn't select anything, but does the animation, or selects one of the 2 pistols in the game. Can anyone help with this? I can see the taser flash in the holster when i press ALT+T sometimes, but then it doesn't do anything except what i listed above.

Oh, okay. So the +livery basically allows the vehicle to appear in-game with more than 1 skin. Got it! :) Is there a way i can change it manually? I've seen in some of bxbugs screenshots he has green text on his screen that allows him to change manually. I don't want to set it to certain areas like the Area Livery mod though, just want to be able to change skins when i'm going around.

2 questions. 1) What are 'liveries'? I've been doing the +livery thing on every vehicle i download in which it says it needs it. But i've never understood what that is doing. 2) And more importantly, is there a way to change car skins in-game? When i'm selecting my cruiser at the start of LCPDFR, i continuously switch back and forth to the same cruiser to try and get it to change to a skin that i want (for those that have more than 1). Is there a way i can change it in-game? I have SNT but have never seen anything to change skins.

Got it fixed, thankyou Eric1! :) This sounds weird, i know. But when i replace the visualsettings.dat with the radiance/luminescence, it doesn't work. But if i delete it THEN copy it over, it works perfect now.

Tried Luminescence, that did the same thing but now they are basically pure white instead of mostly white. So that seems to have made it worse. By 'reinstall' do you mean just delete my visualsettings.dat and then put in the one with Radiance? Because Radiance/Luminescence only gives me basically 1 file, which is the visualsettings.dat file. Note: I'm running EFLC, and i've put the visualsettings.dat from radiance into the root EFLC folder, + the TboGT folder + the TLAD folder. All are replaced. Also, i'm using like Radiance 1.3, if that matters. (The only one i could find).

No, i like using default graphics, i just did a clean install today in order to get away from the ENB i had, actually. So it's a fresh install with LCPDFR, vehicles, and radiance installed. So i had this problem before where my lights (using v6 ELS) were pale in color. Previously, i just used Radiance mod to fix this. And it worked. But now, i'm having the same issue, and Radiance isn't fixing it. The lights on all my ELS vehicles have a dull, dull color or look more white than anything else. No glow to them at all. Please help?

Hey man, i was in your spot a few weeks ago, except I have EFLC. :) Go to the Downloads button on the top-right of this website, and download .95 RC2 LCPDFR, and it will tell you what you need. If you have it all, then you put in your directory which you will find by going through your Steam directory all the way to Common/. Then it installs automatically. Most other things have a read me file inside to tell you more specifically. :)

I know, it fixed it last time. The ENB i got is still there no matter if i re-install or anything, so i tried deleting all the files of it that had ENB on it. And the graphics are back to normal, but the lights remain dim now. :/

Yesterday i installed a mod that messed up my GTA. So i reinstalled all 16GB overnight. The mod was still there. So i deleted the ENB files and everything is back to normal. BUT NOW, when i use ELS lights, the colors are so dull. I had this problem the first time and the radiance mod fixed it. But now it's not doing anything. The colors don't even look to have a glow on them. The 'lights' look more like just a color barely flickering now. Could someone help please? Radiance 1.3 isn't solving it. Neither is the Luminescence that i tried. :[

I'm looking for some weapon/s to use with FBI or something in that area. Something silenced, preferably a smooth pistol with a realistic silenced sound effect. Could someone link me to one please? I found dozens but the couple i have tried are garbage.

With SNT, you can save a vehicle. I've never used it, though.

There are SO many ENB's released from different people, but i know some don't work at all while some are terrible, and some don't even say all versions they are compatible with. Could someone tell me what ENB you are using, and preferrably a link to it? I have EFLC latest version on Steam. I would also like for it to be able to not cause any problems with ELS, etc.. thanks!
