REQUEST: Replace dispatch callouts and unit responses with actual LAPD recordings
I've recently found that using mods like BetterDispatchAudio is a great way to increase realism within the game. I'm definitely sick of hearing "Victor 13! We're at the little coffee shop around the corner!" every 10 minutes of playing LSPDFR. So my thought, why not take the realism further, and replace the audio files used by dispatch and other units with actual recordings from an LAPD scanner? If someone was able to make a mod that also increases the amount of files that LSPDFR (and other mods with audio files) can use, then there would be no limit to the variety of radio chatter we can hear in game. I feel for it to be as in-depth as possible with great variety it would take a fair amount of time which I don't have at the moment (otherwise I would start working on this myself). However, from using the BetterDispatchAudio mod I think the payoff would be great. Any thoughts or anyone willing to give this a go?

[WIP] Real California Architecture
Wow Desmond, this is a really fantastic mod! I love the depth with the modelling of the buildings as well, that's really great. One thing I would love to see in this mod is replacing the suburb names in GTA with the real life counterparts that inspired each area. For example, Pillbox Hill is the suburb containing most of the skyscrapers in GTA. It's inspired by the LA suburb Bunker Hill, so it'd be great for the in-game map to reflect this change. I believe by changing the suburb names in GTA this will also change the suburbs that show up when using the Player Location Display mod. The GTA wikia has pretty comprehensive information on the suburbs in-game as well as their real life inspirations. Another idea would be to do the same thing with the street names in game, although this would be even more involved and maybe even require the help of people who live in LA. Same as the suburbs, GTA wikia has some information on the streets of GTA and their real life inspirations. Looking forward to seeing the future of this mod!

[Request] Vehicle models with Arjent lightbars and coronas
I'm perfectly capable of using the search bar, as my initial post says I'm particularly looking for vehicles with Arjent lightbars that also use coronas, which from what I've found (and I've been looking hard), there are none of. Hence why I'm asking on the forum in case anyone knows a few in particular that I've missed

[Request] Vehicle models with Arjent lightbars and coronas
Please link me to the vehicles you found, as I've been using my search-fu for like 3 days trying to find something and all I've found is one CVPI which I'm using at the moment

[Request] Vehicle models with Arjent lightbars and coronas
Hi, I was hoping someone could help me in my search for a few specific vehicle models. I'm searching for vehicles that have an Arjent lightbar and either work with ELS or have coronas. I've been able to find a couple of models that are nice but don't have coronas, so even with lighting mods like Radiance V (which I don't want anyway) the lights either still look like they don't actually light up, or can't be seen from very far away. I'm open to any vehicles; chargers, tahoes, FPIUs, police interceptors, suburbans, CVPIs, etc. My goal is to have a fleet of police vehicles that look just like the actual vehicles used by the LAPD, so bonus points if they have LAPD skins but if not I'll just make my own. Thanks very much!

[REL | WIP] LSPDFR Computer+
I'm having the same problem as Actionhunter, I have GTA set to fullscreen, my mouse was on Direct Input and I switched it to Raw input, and I have 2 monitors but I only use monitor 1 for GTA so I already had it set to 1. Everything is updated, so any suggestions?

Using game modifications from LSPDFR.com is a frustrating experience. Here's why:
For the record, I (like many others) use GTA V Mod Manager. A function of this manager is to firewall block GTA V for safety, which means the update checking that you (and any other devs) go to the effort of implementing (because of LSPDFR.com) doesn't work for me at all. Oh, okay. I definitely didn't know that. In that case though, hopefully the admins can lean on IPS to hopefully implement a better way to achieve this. Alternatively, if there's any way they could set up even a super basic and somewhat dodgy method of publicising file updates that'd work too. I feel like it should be a fairly high priority to bring this kind of functionality to the site. Developers like Albo work day in day out (like he must be to be updating so often), only to upload these to a community that has no way of knowing they're doing this. Where's the incentive? I know with certainty that if I was a developer, I would chose other options to host my content, or at the very least use multiple sites. Simply put, that means less traffic to LSPDFR.com if developers choose other sites completely and decreased traffic to the website if the devs choose to use multiple sites. Less traffic to LSPDFR.com means less incentive to make LSPDFR the mod. Like I said in my original post, if I had literally any other option I would choose not to use LSPDFR over other sites that have this functionality.

Using game modifications from LSPDFR.com is a frustrating experience. Here's why:
There are a couple of mods I thoroughly enjoy that are only hosted on the LSPDFR site. Two for example, are Arrest Manager and Traffic Policer by @Albo1125. Albo updates these mods frequently. The problem is, there is no way to see when these files are updated on the LSPDFR site, besides visiting each file's page and checking the changelog. Whatever systems are in place for this to be possible simply don't work, and with the new website update, the "manage followed content" page (which previously listed all the files a user follows and shows when they were last updated, e.g. 'Yesterday at 3:36PM') is now also useless for seeing file updates. There are two theoretical ways a user should be able to follow file updates: Via the "Follow this" button. This feature was around before the recent website update. This should either send a daily digest with any file updates that day or an immediate email whenever a file is updated. However it simply doesn't. What it does do, is update users on every time another user comments on a file they follow. For anyone who has no interest in the comments on files, the 'Follow This' button is useless. In the notification settings, I have all notifications and emails turned off, except "A file I am following is updated with a new version" which has both the 'notification list' and 'email' turned on. Instead of getting exactly that, followed file updates, I only get a daily digest of the comments on the file. If I wanted to have an email sent to me immediately when a file is updated, I would choose the 'Send me: A notification when new content is posted' option. This option is unavailable (and greyed out) when a user's notification settings are set to ignore the 'Someone comments on something I follow' option. With a custom Activity Stream In the new site update, the 'activity stream' was introduced. I can see that, in theory, a user should be able to create a new activity stream that has the following filters in order to receive updates on files: Show Me: Content items only As opposed to 'Content items, comments and reviews'. This filter should show only the files themselves, and none of the comments Content types: Files Follow status: Only content I follow This should produce a list of files in order of their most recent update (with each files listed multiple times showing their previous updates in order), however, the list produced shows each file only once, and in the order they were first uploaded to the LSPDFR website. Files and modifications to LSPDFR and GTA V are a huge part of this website and this community. It's unreasonable to expect users to have to jump through hoops however often just to see if their favourite mods have been updated, and this makes for an entirely negative experience every time I use the LSPDFR website. The only reason I use this site as opposed to a site like GTA5-Mods (which has perfect and extremely simple notification system, although they don't provide notifications via email) is because there are files hosted only on the LSPDFR site. In my opinion this feature should be a core part of this website and if it works correctly I imagine it would be utilised by all users. (If anyone could recommend a way to bring this post to the attention of any site admins in any way other than this forum category please reply and let me know)

Suggestion for realism: Sirens stay on when leaving vehicle (Unless turned off with J)
So I feel like it would add to the realism of the game if when the player exits their vehicle without turning the siren off (with J), the siren would stay on. Just like in real life, when a police officer rolls up to a scene and needs to jump out quickly, they don't have time to turn their sirens off.

Can't follow file updates?
Hi, On here and GTA5-mods I like to be able to stay updated on when mods I use are updated. I can't seem to figure this out on the LSPDFR site. Obviously, there's the 'Follow this' button on the top right, but when I click that and try to select the 'A notification when new content is posted' option, I can't. It says: Although in my notification settings, 'A file I am following is updated with a new version' has the email option turned on. It seems that when I click 'Notification Settings' the website is confused as I have the 'Someone comments on something I follow' set to not send me notifications as I'm not interested in the comments. Basically I can't figure out how to get an email when files I follow are updated, while not receiving emails about comments on files. Is this a mistake I'm making or is this an oversight of the website?

Help finding the right police car mod?
Hi, I'm looking for two particular cars that I can't seem to find. I want a Crown Victoria and Impala with FS Vision light bars and ELS v8. I don't care about the skin. I've already tried this one: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> But I don't like it because the light bar and the message board don't work for me. Thanks!

Luxart CVPI's in a screenshot with ELS 7?
Hi, Have the CVPI's that were in the screenshot that was posted with ELS 7 been released? If not, will they be? Attached is the screenshot I'm referring to:
