Very nice, looking forward to it. Are your lights going to be extras like your other FPIUs? My only personal opinion is that I'm not a big fan of the six lights on the back. It would be great if those were able to added as an option.Will we be able to configure this like a slicktop? I loved your previous 2016 because of all the options for lights. Regardless it looks amazing.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help met with a frustratoing issue. I have always loaded cars in without issue and renamed vehicles to police slots and never had issues with the lights. In some cases the lights are outside or way in front of the vehicle. Even with edited carvar. Not all the slots have the same issue. I will try and post a screen shot when I am at my computer with the pics. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Quite Frankly this is simply the most incredible set of vehicles I have ever seen. I am a huge fan of the FPUI and all of them are incredible. The attention to detail is astonishing. There is not one single issue that I can think of to diminish the quality of the pack. I loved TheHurk's other FPUI but I had one issue and that was the scaling. In this case both FPUI the 2016 and 2015 model feel exactly perfect. They are big and badass and they look incredible pulled off to the size of the road taking down any size vehicle. I realize this pack is fresh so I certainly don't want to sound demanding. I am going to use the hell out of them but is it possible to use the new FPUI models and rebuild them with the same lighting systems as the old ones? I love the idea of using them as unmarked and I loved all the options to customize them. No hurry, just a humble request. Enjoying the pack immensely, thank you!

I am confused in the install read me it states: to install the vehicle meta, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe to install the car variations, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2 but shouldn't it read: to install the vehicle meta, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe\dlc.rpf\common\data to install the car variations, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf\common\data or just in the parent folder.

where do I install the carivations and vehicles meta if I want to replace sheriff and sheriff2. Do i just replace the file or cut and paste the carivations and vehicles meta into the old files? I can't get the addon version to work dispite following the instructions as close as possible . When I install the to carivations and vehicles it crashes the game.

Over the top amazing! I have added the 2015 FPIU in the sheriff2 slot and the 2016 FPIU to the sheriff slot. I installed them in patchday11. I am assuming that I would copy and the CARVAR file for policeol1 and 2 and paste the lines in mplux and update the CARVA in the update folder? Is that right?

Seems this is not related to the vehicle as the The Hurks FPUI has the same issue. Could any one help me. Is it a CARVAR issue? it is in police3 slot.

Hi I don't know if this vehicle was taken down or is still being worked on but the lights are in front of the vehicle and I have no idea how to fix it. it is the FPIU-BCSO-MARK-V3.1 I edit the CARVAR and it still is not working. I put it in patchday11. Any ideas? how to get the lights working. I love this model.

Oh, imagine a misunderstanding over the internet ;). I am actually quite new to LSPDFR/GTA. I spent years in the flight sim world where real world acuarcy is paramount. This comes from third party vendors that strive for complete realism. I understand that the community is made up of authors who work hard and donate their time and energies for the good of the community so I have no right to demand perfect scaling. The authors may have a different guiding principle. I would hope this discussion would spur on developers to model vehicles that represent the real thing as closely as possible. I know that there is another author who has posted a preview on YouTube for a 2016 model but he claims people have stolen it and he is never releasing it so I guess I have to be happy with what is available, even though my pedantic nature will be left wanting.

I think it is completely legitimate for users to want what the latest model the CHP are currently using. Users want authenticity and that is what the author of the current FPUI seems to be after. I have made a suggestion to the author of the 2016 model that it could be improved. The scaling is too small and it inaccurately represents the size of the vehicle. He has chosen not to update it because of modeling issues. That's his prerogative and I certainly don't know how to model one or I would. On the other hand while the scale is inaccurate I love the lighting set up even though it's not the setup the CHP use. I made a CHP skin for the 2016 model and I think it makes an awesome version except for the size. I am just thankful to the modelers for there contributions. I don't think it's wrong to express a desire for a 2016 model. I just can't drive the other one because it's too small.

This has been brought up earlier in the thread. The author had to reduce size due to issues with collisions. It would be better to go back and look at his answer. I believe he said that he would take a look and see if the scale could be adjusted. The car is incredible but I find the size distracting and takes away from the realism. I made the comment that it felt more like an escape in size rather than the bigger explorer. If he does adjust the scale the car would be perfect. It literally has everything I could ask for in FPIU.- 269 comments

Any chance that when you release the lightbar version you could release the same emergency lights setup as your amazing 2016 model? Edit: TO clarify I mean even the way you can change the light bar in the back to traffic advisers and the licence plate LED's as well as the same rambar setup. I don't want to beat a dead horse but i just want to make one more comment and maybe a request. I think you have put out a work of art, I really do but I will say that for me the immersion is lessened by the scale not being realistic. The point of the Interceptor Utility is the size and this is one of the reason officers love the vehicle. I driven it around now for a while and the size just feels like it should be a Ford Escape rather than the larger Explorer. So with authenticity in mind would it be possible to scale it up? I know you said that you reduced the scale to avoid collisions. In order for this vehicle to be nearly perfect this is one area that I believe could be improved. I hoped I stated my case in a constructive manner and I reiterate that it is a work of art and thanks for the long hours you put into it.

As the creator its definitely your prerogative. Thanks for explaining why. It bugs me a little but I will live with it. I only notice if there are other cars close by.

I don't get it. I can not infer anything from the youtube site other than the fact that he says "it's just a showcase video" and the fact that some commenters accuse him of stealing the model. The uploader just released his F350 Bush truck so I would deduce he would release the FIPU as well. I just joined this community after years of being a flightsim enthusiast. I don't understand the politics of these models so forgive me my naivety. All I know is that he posted a video of an amazing looking model but people say that it will never be released. I don't know why he would showcase it and not release it? The whole modeling of vehicles is a mystery to me as they appear on this site and then disappear with vague accusations of stealing. I will leave it at that as I know that I am probably hijacking this thread. I think that there is another 2016 model in the works so I will wait patiently for that one. -
