  1. For clarification, hold the button for the manual siren (T on the original key assignment) and then press your siren key (H on the original key assignment) while you are holding the manual siren.
  2. I haven't uploaded it yet
  3. This isn't really a request for anything specific, but I was looking for a skin for an '08 Suburban the other day and the only one I could find was on one of Bugs' Suburbans that he had released a while back. If you guys ever run out of things to do, (which I doubt will happen for a while), maybe try making an '08 Suburban skin pack with a bunch of different textures? There is nothing like it out there right now and it'd be pretty cool.
  4. I'm liking that new Sheriff CVPI. Never really been a fan of that lightbar but it goes well with the texture. Keep up the good work
  5. G.E.? Is this the same "General Entertainment" that supposedly made every model for GTA:IV? Quotes from messages that were in my inbox on GPM a few months back after I released my Pierce Pack. I'm still the bad guy apparently.
  6. The actual siren is not in the game. I put it in the video when I was editing it. The airhorn is in game though and I replaced both the Fire Truck Airhorn and the Police Airhorn with the sound that I had made.
  7. For the record, I was going to let this whole thing ride itself out and not post anymore, but some people really just have the need to come up with slanderous remarks that are quite hypocritical in nature and promote flaming. As far as this mod goes and in reply to the creator of this thread, the first video that was posted in this thread with a Q in it was NOT in game. Reason being, the sound is too long to fit into the HORNS.ivaud file and would therefore be impossible to put in game. Many people have attempted this in the past, and the attempts always end the same way. If there is one thing that disgusts me it is people who lie about things they don't have in order to gain popularity. If I truly believed that you had a working Q Siren in game and didn't put it in when you were editing the video, I would be glad to not only acknowledge your achievement, but congratulate you on the fact that you have created something that would be used by many people in the modding community EVEN THOUGH you have attempted to make me a black mark in GTA:IV Modding (spamming antagonizing comments on my YouTube Videos, Filling my inbox with attacks towards my mods and more antagonizing remarks). However, if you decide you want to continue trying to start fights and continue to make me out to be a bad modeler and say that all I can do is put a lightbar on a car, then I strongly suggest you get to work on finishing all of the mods that you have supposedly and maybe provide some proof that you are even working on them since you have not posted any progress or in game pictures in most, if not all, of the threads. E-One Rear-Mount Ladder Pierce Velocity Engine and Mid-Mount Hook and Ladder MTL Hook and Ladder >American LaFrance Eagle Fire Engine/Pumper The only mod so far that I have seen proof of is your airhorn. It sounds good so far and, believe it or not, I do look forward to when it is going to be released. I'll ignore the attack towards me being a firefighter only for the sake of not turning this personal, which you are attempting to do. This all coming from the guy who made up a big story about a Q Siren Script that was posted on GPM that turned out to be no more than a ploy to gain popularity when the script never existed. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing that I want in GTA IV more than a Q Siren. However, lying and saying that you have one when it is clearly a sound that was put in over a video when it was being edited is not only misleading, but disrespectful to all of those who were excited to see it released. I am by no means jealous of anyone who can script. It is not something I like to do and not something I want to learn more about doing and therefore, I choose not to learn more about it and not to do it. This whole thing is not about me being jealous. This is about people who make mods respecting those who use them. Remember where you came from because none of use walked into modding with the ability or knowledge to script and model.
  8. I'm only asking questions because I want to know and I'm sure someone else out there would like to as well. There is no need to be so hostile nor is there a need to make comments such as your last one. It's a simple question that as a "REAL modder," you should be able to answer I would think.
  9. I believe that the video he meant to post was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2ZMB5dL5qY Now why all of the sudden is there a problem when you turn the siren on? There wasn't any problem the other day... And why did back on the "beep" sound? It didn't go off when you turned on the siren in the other video...
  10. Regardless of the permissions, I'm thoroughly disappointed by the fact that this was labeled as an "Unlocked" Mod and it is in fact locked, as is to be expected of an EVI model (no offense to EVI).
  11. That was what I thought too, but wouldn't that make it so that the sound would not go off when he turned on his lights?
  12. I am really intrigued as to how you managed to get a siren that is much more than 8 seconds long to work in your game. I mean, it really doesn't sound like it is in game considering there is no echo effect. Not to mention the fact that when you turn on the siren with ELS v7, the game normally makes the "beep" noise, but yours does not. Care to explain?
  13. Thanks for all of the positive comments! In regards to the air-horn, it has not been released yet but I will release it soon. I've been very busy and haven't gotten around to releasing it yet.
  14. I thought I had thrown this up already but I guess not http://youtu.be/YDKiELA_ELs

  16. I just downloaded it and it works fine.
  17. The siren is not in the game. The airhorn is in game however and I'm gonna release that pretty soon.

  19. I'm in the process of finishing up the readme and preparing the files for release
  20. Since you insist on starting shit, I'll first tell you to go eat some although judging from the post you made that started my current rant, you've already gone ahead and done some licking already. Secondly, he was not going to release his script or his truck anyways so don't blame me for his selfish-ness. And finally, this EXACT model has not been made yet, however I have been working on something very similar and have almost completed it. I didn't feel like hijacking this person's thread and wanted to see what they was going to come up with considering that they were making it completely from scratch and I respect that. I also would have liked to have seen a new cab that hasn't already been made for IV yet but hey, if they want to make a specific vehicle from scratch then go right ahead. I look forward to seeing how it comes out. If there was a problem with the suggestion I made then I'm sure there would've been a PM in my box or a comment from them on here. If you "ThatOneHick" have a problem with my suggestion, which was by the way made because I thought they may want to know that a very similar truck was already being made and is nearly ready for release, then I kindly ask you to PM me and not attempt to disrespect me behind my back so that we can sort this out without me needing to make you look even worse than you already do. P.S. Next time you add someone as a friend on here, you really shouldn't talk shit about them. In a more on-topic note, I'd like to say that this thing is coming along pretty well and I'm surprised to see how well it actually came out. If you need any help, guidance, or suggestions with the model I'd be glad to assistance with what you need. Good luck and keep up the good work.
  21. I'd suggest working on a different Pierce Model that hasn't already been made for IV. I've already got that cab and I'm finishing up a ladder truck on it. Next step would be an aerial with the bucket and that's pretty simple to make with what I've already got. May I suggest an Arrow XT or a Quantum? No one has made a real High Quality realistic one as far as I know.
