I'll go with you... Just started getting back into both SAPDFR and LCPDFR It's not like you GTA IV has changed to where you can't use OpenIV... Don't be so negative, OpenIV is still usable...

OpenIV was asked to stop, the developers weren't asked to necessarily cease from all coding that wasn't part of OpenIV...

Unfortunately, it seems many devs are selfish in that they don't want to share knowledge, or they are actually doing things illegal and therefore won't share the code... either way, there are ways to do things on a legit basis... SparkIV should've continued on to V, but unfortunately, OpenIV snuffed them out before V was even a thought about....

Any ways, I think I'm going to start working on an Alternative to OpenIV... probably I'll start next week..

Maybe a group of us should get together and start working on a SparkV... keeping some of the basic functions of OpenIV, such as Model Viewer, and model swapping, and a mods folder, hash generator, etc... I'm not sure what was in OpenIV that prompted Take Two other than the LC expansion they were working on.

Will OpenIV work on the current version of GTA V? I.e. the gunrunners update? << I don't think that update would render OpenIV useless, I think the issue would be ScriptHookV...

Keep modding guys, no one knows, no one cares, honestly... OpenIV won't be outdated except for some newer DLC's most likely, so mod to your hearts content. I'm a keep at it for as long as I can. I'm not buying a nother Rock* game. Police 1013 should have an Alpha out by next January - June

I'm working on lore friendly textures that are based off my Welcome to Broome County Pack. I've only done the CVPI, but if you would like more, please leave a review and or comment so I know you've used it. I hope they are received well by my fellow Broome County New Yorkers. Works with most any CVPI << Except for Miami Packs', I don't have a texture template for that (atleast a proper one). Contains 1 of each (CVPI only): Binghamton/Johnson City Style Vestal Style Endicott Style Broome Security Style Port Dickinson Style
