That didn't do anything. RDE is broken I don't know why everyone is saying it's not. This latest update made it not work properly.

Is there a way to play GTA V in offline mode when launching from Rage Plugin Hook? I'm about to take my laptop to work lol there's no WiFi there, I need to know quick!

I would like to add 11Joh11's LSPD Esperanto, Willard, and Marbelle WITHOUT REPLACING another police vehicle. I already have a mod folder setup with RDE, and I get the basic premise of adding the vehicles 3d model and texture, but I forget where, and have no clue what to do with the handling and carcols and all those .meta and .xml things.

Does anyone know when RDE will be updated? Is anyone in contact with the mod authors? Are they on this site?

Um... where does that go and what does it do? Make RDE work alongside of SNT? (Its been a year since I've modded GTA I forgot how to do all of this)

I am not currently using LSPDFR. I have just gotten back into PC gaming after a year of my laptop being broken and I'm pretty rusty. I'm starting with a fresh install of GTA and I'm pretty lost. I can't even remember how to install most mods lol. I just put in Simple Native Trainer and RDE. It seems that RDE needs an update. SNT is working fine, but only by itself. I haven't gotten around to installing LSPDFR or RPH yet

Well something weird is going on. Last night my game had a 4GB udate, and Realism Dispatch Enhanced isn't working. The cars and peds are, but the wanted level scripts are not running.

Where can you find official information on when scripthook and scripthook.net will be updated? I think they are out of date since the "tiny racers" dlc

So is the issue related to RDE, or is it scripthook and scripthook.net? Becasue all the RDE cars and peds are working fine, the game doesn't crash, its just that the custom wanted level scripts don't work, which makes me think it might be an issue of the scripthook things not being up-to-date since yesterday that stupid ass "tiny racers" update came out...

I'm having the same issue just now. Simple trainer by itself works fine. When the 2 are together, Simple Trainer doesnt work, and the RDE scripts don't work, so no police come after you. Its very strange.

I'm just getting back into all this for the first time today, I've installed a gun sound mod, ENB mod, and RDE 3.0. After installing all my mods I JUST got hit with a 30 minute long 4GB update.......................... Are you fucking serious? Is there some way to permanently disable all updates on GTA and play offline with no internet connection? This is getting rediculous! I just spent $450 repairing my laptop, spent the last 3 hours installing mods, and right as I hit play theres a fuckin update.....

I would seriously beg to differ. I can't think of any other game where updates are forced on you and consequently break all mods every time as a result. If they really "supported" mods as they claim then this would not be a recurring issue. Two or three times maybe, but every single time is unacceptable. Fact of the matter is, if the guys that make RPH and Scripthook didn't release new versions alongside these updates, that would be it, and Rockstar would get their way. Fact is they HATE things like LSPDFR, for example, because it takes attention away from their big cash cow: GTAO. I don't have the patience to re-do all my mods every time they cram unwanted DLC down our throats. This last update was the 4th and last time for me. Combine that and the fact that the backup/downgrade feature on RPH has never worked, I'm done with GTA 5. I couldn't even enjoy playing LSPDFR for more than a week or so because these updates ruin everything. Until someone finds a way to crack the code or whatever, and completely disable the Social club update thingy, so we can play offline, it's not worth it.

Blocking it with a firewall does not work. The launcher takes over and forces the update.Canceling the update closes RPH. Unplugging the internet doesn't work either, because the launcher demands you sign in.

A simple choice to skip updates would have been nice. Thats all.

Sorry N4Cer, but like I said the backup feature of RPH will not work, so even if you put those old files in your game, the GTA V launcher will still force you to update automatically. This is due to the "always online" feature hardcoded into the PC version. Even blocking with your firewall will not work. Unplugging your internet will cause the launcher to freak out and demand you sign in. Its like this: You make a backup of your GTA with RPH A GTA update is released by cockstar You update, start RPH, and it tells you that the version isn't supported You revert to an old version, start RPH, and then the GTA Launcher takes over and forces the update again. Rinse, wash, repeat. Anyway, FUCK GTA, I'm gonna go play ARMA 3, unlike Rockstar, Bohemia cares about the modding community.

Oh yeah, troubleshoot properly, because this isn't the fourth time this has happened to me or anything. The only thing that works for me is unistalling the entire game, and reinstalling it and all of my mods, because RPH backup doesn't work, blocking the launcher on firewall doesn't work, nothing works. So like I said before, everyone that has the disk version is screwed. So you tell me why 4 times in a row now it doesn't work for me.

I'd like to know what universe you guys are in. I blocked it on my firewall, and it still opens to update. If I cancel the update, then the launcher and RPH closes and the game does not launch.

When I cancel the update, RPH closes too. How do you block things with a firewall?

Important Notices:This is verified to work with the STEAM edition of GTA V, I cannot verify that it will also work with the RGSC edition, however if users report that it works I will update this thread to suit the requirements. It literally says at the top that this ONLY works with the Steam version. So again, my point is that everytime an updated is crammed down our throats, those of us with the retail CD version are fucked. And they wonder why people pirate games. They've fuckin ruined modding completely with this always online shit.
