  1. Hi there, cops! I came up with a great idea recently. But I have no idea how to implement it. I am not sure if this topic is already being discussed somewhere else, but here is the thing: I want to extract the walkie talkie lifeguards carry ingame, but I have no idea of where their accesories can be found in the game files. Here is a screenshot of what I am looking for (attached) Maybe devs and 3D modelers out there can help me out, or just comfort me and ask me to give up. Anyways, let me know what you think :) Thanks in advance, have a good one Tux
  2. Thanks ineseri! My bad, I should have taken a look at that section before asking :) have a great day
  3. What's up, guys? Hope you are having a great weekend. So, today, I woke up with an idea I'd like to develop for this community, like another callout addon in addition to those we already have here. I know C and C++ languages (especially C++). I was wondering if any of you guys could give me advice to start creating a simple one, nothing too elaborated. Just to practice so I can develop a better one in the future. Links to guides, files attached are appreciated :) Have a good one Officer Tux
  4. Yeah, that should help, thanks for dropping in, we hope to see more of you :) I'm checking the .rpf right now
  5. UPDATE: Since in my example I asked for the s_f_y_sheriff_01, which is the female sheriff model, I searched for it in x64e. There I only found male models. The female model IS in x64v.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_f_y.rpf\. Just letting you guys know. :)
  6. Thank you very much Mercuri! Your reply was very helpful :) you made my day bro. I'm gonna check out those directories asap. I'm taking note right now. This is what I found so far, maybe someone finds it useful: Using the content of the spoiler, and the Rage plugin hook DB... http://ragepluginhook.net/PedModels.aspx?modelHash=1096929346 What about the objects? Like for example, the trekking bag some npc's use in Mount Chilliad? Do they use a similar name as the npc one? Thanks again for taking your time to reply :) if anyone wants to add anything, don't hesitate to do it! you never stop learning Have a great day you all
  7. Hi there cops! :) I've been messing with GTA V's game files, trying to learn more about how everything works, so I can give it a try and start modding my own mods haha I also checked out RAGE Plugin documentation. I'd like to ask you if you have any idea of where I can find ped models (I know RAGE website has a database but it's not what i am looking for), the .ytd .ydd files and all that stuff. I've been looking for those files in x64v, but I only achieved to modify certain textures for Michael or even the online model. Is there any real database showing the directories to look for any model? Could you give me advise about this? I'm a little bit bored of searching and searching through all the game files... I'll give you an example, where would you guys find s_f_y_sheriff_01? (and its clothes, accesories...) I'm starting with edit textures, maybe I start creating mods for the community in a near future (If i learn enough to do so). Sorry for the inconvenience if this topic is already posted. Have a great day you all and thanks in advance, Henry P.S. Any special software/tools to work with textures? Apart from Photoshop
  8. Okay guys, looks like Herocop still needs some fixes. If you try the new feature, voice commands, LSPDFR crashes. At least, for me. Luckily, now you are able to get a K9 as your partner.
  9. Yeah, you are damn right. I totally agree with ya. Adding all cool mods from the website to the main LSPDFR mod would resolve many issues when trying to make them all work together. It looks like the dev of Herocop has released a new version so...I m gonna check it out and see if it works now: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8437-herocop-beta-03-voicecommands-k9-partner-drag-body-injured-store-hold-ups-and-more/ Have a great Halloween weekend :) (Follow me in Twitter if you want @Henry2xGTA)
  10. Hell yeah! You were righ, here it is: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8437-herocop-beta-03-voicecommands-k9-partner-drag-body-injured-store-hold-ups-and-more/ Hope it works smooth now! ;)
  11. haha hell yeah! Keep up the good work, devs! You are doing a great job here :D Does anyone understand the RPH crash report? Everytime GTA crashes, the only line I can understand is "LSPDFR may be involved in the crash" :/ I wish I knew how to know where the issue is Thanks!
  12. I'm not sure what you are talking about. I recently added some car models with OpenIV and everything seems to work just fine...(well, a few times GTA stops working and shuts down)
  13. Yeah, I feel you Captivation. It sucks when the game crashes. As far as I know, that would be the only fix at the moment, avoiding the use of the herocop mod. We'll have to wait till the dev releases a new version :) Thanks btw
  14. Hi there guys! This. Is. Damn. Helpful. Thank you very much for taking your time to report this. You made my day, buddy. I wanna reply your post because after dealing with too many crashes (because of the new update), I finally made it. My game is working perfectly, without the Herocop mod. Since you are working with that mod, I was wondering if you could help: Another user and I are reporting an issue here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/56457-lspdfr-crashes-when-i-try-to-get-a-dog-from-herocop/ Please, if you don't mind, take a look at it. Thank you all and have a great day Over
  15. I feel you, bro. The same issue is happening to me since a couple days too. I have no clue of how to fix it. I have tried almost everything (download Rage again...download the mod again...) The only advice I can give you is to download the latest uploaded file of LSPDFR (they posted a new one a week ago) :( maybe that fixes other issues you didn't come across yet with callouts. Let me know if you fix it buddy! Over
