    I've had this error before and I've ended up just resorting to using a VPN in another region, because I couldn't be bothered waiting for them to get their stuff together.

    All the servers are down, therefor you cannot log into Social Club.
     
    Does anyone have a work around ?

    That did the trick.. I wish some installation instructions would specify more.. This is not noob friendly. Thank you very much for your help. You saved me a headache. I'm very thankful!

    Make sure you rename the police.ytd/.yft files to sheriff.ytd/yft (plus the _hi.yft/+.ytd).
    Then go into OpenIV and go to (Update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf)
    Replace the default sheriff files with your sheriff files.
