I think they have to use coronas. However, now that this file has been blown apart, I can't imagine why car modders wouldn't use it to their advantage and create corona enabled light with custom patterns. We'll be dealing with this particular file a lot now with most vehicle downloads now I imagine. I'm personally looking forward to more strobe-like patterns and not the LED christmas type lights.

Falloff values allow you to set the lights to reflect off objects much further. Short video I made here, you can see the light reflect off the buildings and tree. I set "lightfalloffMax" and "lightfalloffExponent" to a value of 80. Why would Rockstar have such low falloff values is beyond me, default is very unrealistic and there appears to be no performance issues.

We might not have to wait an eternity anymore, there was a recent discovery made on a file that enables completely custom light patterns, flash rates and the light itself reflecting off objects. We may not need ELS after all, a few users have already successfully made really nice patterns just by making simple XML edits on existing vehicles. Look out for the mods downloads section this week.

Exaggerate much? There's probably one request a week in this thread about release date.

When people ask when the release date is, it's just excitement from the community. No need to get pissy. I think it gives everyone a good sense of the general hype and how badly everyone wants this mod. So no matter how many times it's posted or spelled out to not ask for release date, it will still be pondered by folks here.

Love the series of scripts. I'm having one issue with them all together though.. After about an hour of LSPDFR I notice a microstutter that happens about every second. It gets worse and worse over time until LSPDFR crashes. Yesterday I did some troubleshooting to find out which mod was causing. I disabled all plugins via rage console and introduced them one by one. Anytime an Albo mod was loaded, the microstutter would resume. Disable LSPDFR, removed any Albo mods, reload LSPDFR plugin.. and microstutters gone. Reloading all plugins doesn't fix the problem, the issue resumes as soon as Traffic policer, arrest manager or any other Albo mod resumes function. Any ideas? System is TitanX x2 in SLI, i7 6770k, SSDs, 32GB DDR4, Win10- 1,915 comments
