Use sparkiv and go to the audio Sfx > resident.rpf > then click on RESIDENT on the left panel list, then just hit the import button and select the new HORNS.ivaud Hit save, close that window, save on window underneath it, then close everything, then get into game. Violent driving is what can damage the hardrive, sharp turns or trying to stop on a dime things like that. Normal driving however won't so much, hardrives are much more stable than a CD drive.... But I don't see why they don't all go SSD, that would elminate this problem all together and are much cheaper than tough books. However.....SSD's do not last as long as HDD's due to the fact that the cells can only be written over/rewritten a certain amount of times before they 'burn out'.

LCPDFR is not the issue here. You need to get the script Traffic Flow, you can find it >here. Just down load it, unzip it and throw those files into your scripts folder in your directory. That should fix the problem, or play in multiplayer but that just hogs more resources. The problem is that your vehicles, the custom stuff you have put into your game is to high polly which is causing the game to 'glitch'. Hope this helped!

You need to go into your trainer and disable your keys, either in game or you can go into the trainer.ini in your directory and turn off trainer keys maually. If you turn them off in game, make sure you find the save to file option, they both should be in the options menu of the trainer. I would say redownload lcpdfr, right click on it and go to properties and make sure next to the read-me check box it doesn't say something like unblock (its a button), if it does obviously unblock. If it doesn't, then just run it as Administration (right click, run as Administrator). Usually if everything but your teaser is working, the installer must have malfunctioned and 99% of the time is fixed with an lcpdfr reinstall.

Interesting.......... Also Ineseri I agree with ya. I hope that they don't rush it and acutally make new stuff for the next game. A lot of the New Vegas interiors were from Fallout 3. I can't wait to see what the next one is going to be like! I hope this 'counter' we seemed to have come across isn't a hoax or a joke of some sort......

The reason for a tough book is because mainly it has a hard shell with a shock mounted hard drive that won't skip or give you problems if the device is bouncing or being hit. However that's really only useful if you throw the damn thing down a few flights of stairs and use it while its tumbling. If the officer's driving gives a laptop the similar experience of it falling down flights of stairs......maybe.....he/she should revisit the academy :p unless he/she is in a pursuit like off road or something. In which case I can't imagine why you'd be trying to use a computer...... Plus yes, simple dell's are much much cheaper than a tough book :p. Tough books are more ideal for active military use like out in the field and what not lol.

I really hope the fallout series doesn't die anytime soon, they really need to continue with it. I love the whole future post apocalyptic free world type games. I like finding all the odd stuff like the old jazz music and these terminal command line based computers even though its like years in the future :p Although, did you guys like Fallout New Vegas? I thought it was definitely interesting, however I found Fallout 3 to more......mysterious. It seemed to have more in it.

I can only imagine what lcpdfr is gonna be like for GTA V PC if and when it comes out for the PC.........

I'm interested in becoming a law enforcement officer, probably starting with local Colorado Springs PD then moving up to the Colorado State Troopers. I like most here have wanted to be a police officer since I was much younger. I'm hoping to get back to the states and join the CSPD explorer program before applying. I'm currently living overseas under the US Department of State, moving around every few years, attending international schools, and working for the US government during extended school holidays. Which all look good on an application, of course I intend to go to college and get my Criminal Justice degree but I'm not going to use that to get a desk up stairs, I love the road, especially the highways which is why the Colorado State Patrol interests me. I'll probably join the military to have them pay for my degree, serve the 6 years after, and have a degree and military training/experience to put down on the application.

Hmm well with only $150 I would probably go for a new processor but like br100x said, you'd probably have to upgrade the motherboard to support the newer processor's socket. Here is something things that should be right in your budget. Processor Motherboard I would take a look at those and those should be right in your price range. I'd also look into overclocking that FX processor if you want faster performance without going straight to upgrading, plus your graphics card is able to be overclocked, the graphics card should have sufficient cooling for that but the processor may need a water cooler if you intend to overclock it pretty high.

I would think about getting a better processor, maybe an AM3+ socket, like an FX series processor? What is your budget for upgrading? FX series overclock very nicely, even though it doesn't have an integrated GPU its much faster than the A10. It depends what kind of gaming you intend to do, whether or not you intend to record, render videos/models, etc. Are you a casual gaming or an elite one? Is overclocking something your interested in?

Oh alright then......... your probably going to be best looking for a pre-built or barebone pc from newegg that is just missing a PSU or something small and easy to install.

Well before you go replacing everything, I would try either having your PSU checked/repaired or buy a new one. Cause that bumping into your computer and it shutting off is a bit concerning.......and that's probably the PSU causing that problem.

Hmm I would go through your graphics control center and see if there are any profile settings or power settings and see if you have to manually set the graphics card to kick in for certain applications. This may have happened in a driver update, unlikely but something is keeping your GPU from kicking in.

So wait, you can perfectly play other games that are somewhat graphically intense at max settings with no problem? Its only GTA that gives you a problem?

Ohhh.....then it might be that your GPU isn't getting enough power and isn't functioning as a primary display adapter or it may not be set to run the game (a specific application). What is your current graphics card? Or have you already upgraded to the 660?

Yeah, if you've got a dream system or a system you like and think is good for you then great don't change it, but the case lol. I wouldn't say go cheap on the case cause you want your expensive 'baby' (lol) to look nice siting on your desk or next to your feet haha, or at least I would. Plus you need to make sure that airflow and cooling is considered when buy a case, weight, and size too.

See if you can't get the debris from evidence to show to the teacher just in case she doesn't believe you ;D In the United States things are a whole lot different than the rest of the world. I'm currently living overseas under the Department of State and I'm going to an International School. I'm in Europe and that really opened my eyes to the gun laws around the world. And some of you pointed out that a concealed weapon in countries that aren't the US are probably a pocket knife at best, but in the US I'm willing to bet at least a handful of parents that pick up their kids have some sort of firearm within reach (either on them or in their car). Hell, I was back home this past summer in Colorado Springs and walked threw Walmart (miss the place already lol) and saw at least three guys that were openly wearing a sidearm (shopping with their families, two of the guys had kids!), and no they weren't police. I mean don't get me wrong, a parent loudly bitching at a receptionist doesn't really need a hard lockdown, but would you whether be safe than sorry? Shit, and I think schools in the US (or at least the ones my younger cousins are going to) need to do lockdown drills more often, in my International school we do one every month or two but I say why not do them every 2-3 weeks, just to let everyone know they are prepared........
