Found the issue, editing gameconfig.xml file causes the game to crash. Have no idea how to get around this. Still need help.

So yesterday i wanted to add Lamborghini Aventador Add-On to my modded game copy, but i ran into issues. The game would start crashing as soon as i install the mod. I followed the instructions provided by the mod author in the readme, but no matter what i did. As soon as i place the mod files in their respective place the game just crashes while loading story mode. I just get GTAV.exe has stopped responding error and it closes. I tried removing the mod and placing a different one, same issue, game immideately starts crashing while loading story mode. I went ahead with removing the mods (add-on) cars and it works. Confusing thing though, few days back i added another add-on car and it worked. Now none of them work, the game is just crashing. If needed i will provide the links to the two mods that i tried using. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Nope, didn't work. RAGEHook still refuses to load if not in the main game directory.. If there was only a way to install the game twice..

I have hooked up, formatted and set as storage my previous HDD that i disconnected once i bought a new one. It is ~5 years old so i am concerned about it's performance, but i guess we will have to see. The game is copying right now.

So i've recently started using LSPDFR and at first i had issues getting ragehook to work. Turned out that ragehook didn't want to work cause i was trying to install it into a duplicate game folder. As soon as i installed it into my main game, it worked perfectly. Now this isn't anything related to ragehook, i just wish to know how can i create a duplicate game (basically have GTA V installed twice on my PC) without having the problem of mods simply not working if i put them in the duplicate game folder? Do i have to rename the main folder or something? I just want to make sure that i have a clean installation of the game at any time and not have to worry about some mod file slipping by my eye and having it while playing Online. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, After ~6 hours of trial and error i have finally decided to quit. I simpy cannot get the Ragehook to load at all. I'm not even getting the log file from it. I've installed every dependency, disabled UAC, anti -virus, reinstalled both ragehook and lspdfr 20+ times and still nothing. At this point i'm truly ready to just scrap it, remove the duplicate game i made for it.. I've made a topic on Ragehook's forum, but it's going to be quite some time before i get any response there from what i can see. Am i doing something wrong or am i forgetting something? Someone please help as this has became very annoying cause i've done everything that needed to be done and the damn thing still for some damn reason doesn't want to work.
