Hey thanks for the reply! So I have been doing some out of the box thinking/testing since I posted this and ive discovered a few things. I originally had my game on a external ssd. Moving the game to my main internal ssd helped slightly with the crashing but it wasn't perfect. I discovered after my game crashed while playing earlier and then started crashing on startup again, that restarting my computer helped. I also applied the steps you provided above and it seems like it helped but I not 100% sure since the crashing seemed so random. If anything else changes ill post another update here.
