So as the title says, the game is crashing on startup sometimes which has me perplexed. When the game does load, all the plugins I have work fine and im able to play for as long as I want so I feel like this might be a memory or hardware issue. I have the heap adjuster and a game config as well as the packfile limit adjuster. I run the game through steam but I also have a rockstar games launcher copy as my steam version is banned from online. I noticed the rockstar games launcher does open when using the steam version and even says gta is running. I have no way to prevent this but I don't think this is the issue anyways as the game is still working when it does load up and im able to play. I looked at my rage log but it doesn't tell me much from what I can see or maybe I don't understand what's happening fully. If anyone knows what the issue could be I would appreciate the help immensely! Thank you all!

Update: So heres my rage log from just now when the game loaded and I went on duty just fine and everything but it ended up crashing the whole game shortly after accepting a callout. Installed the packfile, heap, and gameconfig last night using this method https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/19337/fix-for-game-memory-error-may-2018-by-police18651/2 

Which I just noticed is from 2018 so it may be outdated.

Heres a log from crashing on startup just now. I've been playing most of the day with no issues. The game finally crashed after about 3 or so hours of playtime non stop which isn't a big deal but now it's crashing on startup again every time so far.

Hey mate one thing I noticed in your log was stuff in yor command line. Go and clear that if you haven't already it's in your main directory it's a texts document. Also go into you lspdfr.ini file in the lspdfr folder and switch main.PreloadAllModels to false from true. Hope this helps. 

 

Also another good option is for your first start up is start the game by its self then when it's loaded story mode then launch rage plugin hook. Let me know if any of this helps

Hey thanks for the reply! So I have been doing some out of the box thinking/testing since I posted this and ive discovered a few things. I originally had my game on a external ssd. Moving the game to my main internal ssd helped slightly with the crashing but it wasn't perfect. I discovered after my game crashed while playing earlier and then started crashing on startup again, that restarting my computer helped. I also applied the steps you provided above and it seems like it helped but I not 100% sure since the crashing seemed so random. If anything else changes ill post another update here. Thanks for you time!
