This has been resolved. I uninstalled it on Rockstar launcher and installed it on Steam and now it's working.

I've installed LML. I started the game, then started LML. It isn't connecting to the game and nothing I try to install with it succeeds. I've followed the instructions here: Maybe there's something simple I'm missing?

Thanks for the info. I'm not using ELS. Just trying to get the hang of things again before I start doing anything with mods.

It's been a long time since I played this mod. I just installed it again, no mods at all. Just want to get the feel of the game again before I do any mods. I get into a police vehicle and press J, because I believe that's how you turn on the emergency lights, and nothing happens. What am I missing? Looking at the config for the keys, it only shows a siren button (J) so I assumed that also did the lights. Please help an recycled noob!

I still don't have the display name tab and I'm still in the New group, so I guess I don't get automatically moved out of that group after a period of time. *edit* Well, now I have enough posts that I'm an "Upstanding Citizen".

Ok well if that's the case, I can be patient and I'll use the forum as normal. :)

Maybe a moderator can change it for me? I don't want to spam topics just to move out of the "new" group.

Orange and blue. That's pretty hard on the eyes but I guess it gets the attention of the motorists! :)

That was hillarious! I just got the mod last night so I haven't been able to play because of R* messing stuff up. I can't wait and your video made me feel all tingly inside. :)
