NOTICE This plugin bases vehicle registration off of LSPDFR's database. The STOCK police computer will return the CORRECT registered owner. Police Radio and Rage Computer base their registered owner off of the driver of the vehicle and WILL NOT (consistently) return the correct registered owner. (Police Radio sometimes changes the owners name it displays for its random events). I will continue to utilize the method of retrieving the owner information that is consistent with LSPDFR in its stock configuration. Description An ALPR/ANPR system that is created to simulate the realism found in its real life counterparts. With this realism you must operate the ALPR/ANPR system in a realistic manner, from sitting on the side of the highway to doing sweeps through a parking garage. Run around with the system turned on while doing your regular patrols or stake out on the side of the road looking for stolen vehicles. This mod with not blip or mark the vehicle that creates the alert, you must locate based on the License Plate, Model, and the Camera that generated the alert. Installation Unzip file to your main Grand Theft Auto 5 folder. Configuration EnableKeyboard - Enables and Disables the keyboard hotkey. SystemToggleKey - The key that is used to toggle the system on and off. (Valid Keys: http://bit.ly/1IW5uTY) EnableController - Enables and Disables the Controller Support. SystemToggleButton -The button that is used to toggle the system on and off. (Valid Buttons: http://bit.ly/23oOGy1) SystemName - The name of the system (Ex: ALPR or ANPR) ScanBeepOn - Turns off the scanning beep when a plate is detected. WarrantPercent - Percentage of warrants detected by the system. TowPercent - Percentage of vehicles requiring impound. StolenPercent - Percentage of stolen vehicles detected by the system. CameraDegreesFOV - Field of View of the cameras CameraRange - The viewable range of the cameras DriverFrontAngle - The Driver-side Front camera angle DriverSideAngle - The Driver-side Side camera angle PassengerFrontAngle - The Passenger-side Front camera angle DriverSideAngle - The Passenger-side Side camera angle Features The ALPR/ANPR system is available on all police vehicles. 4 Camera System (Driver Front, Driver Side, Passenger Front, Passenger Side) Ability to Enable and Disable the ALPR/ANPR system (Defaults to "T" Key) Realistic Scanning of Vehicle Plates Alerts when a stolen vehicle is scanned or vehicle owner has an active warrant. Integrated with LSPDFR's crime database Controller Support with Configurable Button Motorcycle units only utilize two cameras (Driver and Passenger Front cameras) Configuration File that can edit the Hotkey, Controller Button, System Name, Scanning Beep, and Camera Attributes Scans vehicles rear and front license plate (if the vehicle has a front plate) Ignores all non-plated vehicles "Tow on Sight" for crimes like "Unpaid parking/speeding tickets" Todo List Simulate camera range accuracy falloff Simulate reduced camera range in rain Create and Implement alert GUI Allow ALPR/ANPR use on tow truck with a special "Tow Hotlist" for repossessions Known Bugs Persona of vehicle owner/driver does not seem to sync with LSPDFR- 149 comments

[Request] Extend API to cover Plate & Ped Lookup
Yeah I just saw that (reading is fundamental). I'm also interested in VehicleOwnerData, mostly if its stolen and as an extension off of that pulling the persona of the registered owner and not the current driver.

Known issues
At least with my mod this below worked for me to detect if the computer was open... I'm currently having issues with my PC so I can not double check atm, but if I remember correctly, it works. PoliceComputer policeComputer = new PoliceComputer(); if (Game.IsKeyDown(Keys.T) && !policeComputer.IsShowing)

[Request] Extend API to cover Plate & Ped Lookup
This may be planned, but I would like to suggest extending the API to allow the ability to pull Vehicle and Pedestrian information in the near future. Every mod that attempts to utilize crime data currently randomly generates that data and is inconsistent from LSPDFR and each other. The ability to pull "Persona" and "VehicleOwnerData" in a consistent manner would greatly improve the consistency and immersion of mods that use such data.

[WIP][REL] Realistic ALPR System
While possible, I would like to maintain consistency throughout the game and all other mods. May I suggest a mod that may work for you called "Real Vehicle Names". I and most modders that interact with how to process, probably all want to see a way to interact with a single crime system. I have really left that up to LSPDFR (hopefully 0.2). Personally in my current testing version if a vehicle is stolen I set the vehicle.IsVehicleStolen property to true so any other mod that looks at that flag pull the correct information (even though none seem to currently).

[WIP][REL] Realistic ALPR System
It is using Rage, as it was the most fitting for future integration with LSPDFR. Being in repo is not all that bad, definitely not like on TV. We have had our share of people running, driving off our lift and wanting to fight, but those are generally rare. The job is mostly about being able to talk to people and to deescalate bad situations.

[WIP][REL] Realistic ALPR System
I hope it will be great. I'm really trying for realism, I work as a Repossession Agent in real life and use our camera car on a daily basis. I'm modeling this mod off of the system I use almost every day. If that's the case seems like it will be 100% , repossession agent? hows that? Im awaiting some tests here to take for police officer in nj. I was gonna apply to the Georgia state patrol recently but decided not too after all
