  1. Hello lcpdfr staff. Thanks for working so hard on this great mod and bringing the 1.0 to life :) I have been running into some errors and bugs since I made a fresh install of my GTA IV today (29/12-2013) Completely fresh install, updated to 1.0.7.0 and then the automatic installer for lcpdfr. First my GTA didnt want to update to 1.0.7.0 (fixed) Then lcpdfr OR gta iv crashed when attempted to do the first run upon loading the level. (fixed by repairing installation with auto installer) 3rd. after the repair fix, the game ran for about 30-60 minutes and then crashed. Now crashes everytime I hit the "start" button in main menu of GTA IV. tried the following: Folder set to NOT "read-only" and run as admin. And crashes again. Now I tried to delete the "Advancedhookinit" file and did a manual taser install as your guide mentionend and I will now try to run the game/mod again. (update to follow!). Below my attached log files. Thanks Tobu1211 ------------------------------ !!!!EDIT!!!! After the manual install of taser the mod started and played without any bugs or errors! Very well made :) However trying to activate my lights (not default G) but hitting the numpad / the game crashed imidiately?

  4. I did a little google search and found this for you... http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/479465-WS10-Error-in-GTA-IV
  5. Hello everyone on LCPDFR.com I recently installed my gta iv and got the lcpdfr mod installed and played around for a bit. The mod (last time I had it V 0.95 RC2) still tells me there is a newer version available on the bottom right corner in red text? It is over 1 year since I played the lcpdfr last?? no updates since?? Got some random errors like: 1. domestic disturbance in schotller (sorry if spelled wrong) cant enter the building and therefor the mission can only be ended with a RPG to the front side of the building killing everybody inside or go to console and do the restartscripts thing. 2. callouts stop working 3. commands in the mod stops working 4. LCPDFR computer stops working. These errors occured on a vanila install AND legit copy of the game. I then installed the taxi fix and that seemed to fix issue #3 and #4 :D?? Now to the original problem! I installed some new cars (NO ELS) and the realistic driving and flying mod. and no errors here. But now I suddenly get a weird error starting the game. Description: -GTA IV launches fine and I click PLAY. -Loading screen (with characters) starts showing and music plays. -Loading screen goes black and displayes your mission name. -Now the game should load but the loading screen keeps on and the music fades and nothing else happens?? I then Restored my carmods to the original and restored my entire GTA IV install folder. Tried to install the LCPDFR mod and it gave me this error ---------- Installation component 'LCPDFRModels' error'd! at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options) at System.IO.StreamWriter.CreateFile(String path, Boolean append) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding, Int32 bufferSize) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding) at System.IO.File.InternalWriteAllText(String path, String contents, Encoding encoding) at System.IO.File.WriteAllText(String path, String contents) at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.tazershit.beginComponent() at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) ---------- Install is run as administrator and game should be patched to newest 1.0.7.0 Hope someone can help me out. Thanks for a great mod! Tobu1211
  6. Installed the RC2: No errors Alt+P: on duty no errors Then i notice a red line in bottom right corner: New version available LCPDFR RC2 However that is the version i just installed? I first tried installing on a clean copy of IV (No ELS, vehicles mod) but still got the text. Also the domestic callout is bugged. I can

  8. Yup. The reloadscripts fix almost everything! Nice other useable commands in the console? Hmm Maybe i´ll try Traffic flow then. It´s weird that there is no config file in IV that makes it possible to change the amount of memory the game uses on traffic. I mean it would be usefull to get rid og the textures load fail. caused by some NON standart police vehicles. even with 6 GB of ram you still get it. LAME. Aight Asuna time to close this right?
  9. Oh I didnt knew that I could enter a console and type that to fix the scriptcrash Nice. and Thx Well, no I only installed FR with the automated install and patched it. no change. Just installed a new cop car CVPI_3.2 with alot of livery in it and I am lucky that I dont get the Texture load fail now. well only when I have played for like 1 or 2 hours. I bealive it is the Script crash your talking about that makes the keys lose their function! So nxt time I´ll come across that I will try the console and type reloadscripts. Thx yet again and if you will be kind and wait to close this topic until I have tested the reloadscripts in console. PS. Do you by any means know about the Traffic flow patch or what it is that should fix the LOADS of taxis?
  10. Yes I know it is not the FR mod which causes the load error but just to find out what car that does.. on another note Do someone know WHY a car do that?? are there any thing to do except from unistalling the car? Yes the ALT+P and ALT+B and ALT+R (mod keys) stop functioning randomly.. This counts for ALL keys used by the mod. not only the ALT+B and others mentionend
  11. Okay. As a correction of my post in the shout box regarding why textures fail to load when playing LCPDFR mod. I kinda already got the answer by Asuna. (Possibly an installed police car causing the problem.) However I´m gonna list the installed cars for others to test if it causes their game to do the texture load fail. ELS V4. vehicles only. Installed cars are: Police cruise changed to: CVPI_K9_UNIT_V2.0F-ELSv4 Police 2 changed to : CVPI_ Sheriff Noose changed to : CVPI_K9_UNIT_V2.8D-ELSv4 FBI changed to : CVPI_K9_UNIT_V3.2S-ELSv4 --------------------------------------------------- NOTE! I´ll try and find the Police 2 exact name and edit this post. Also the controls in the mod also skips and force me to reload my game. anyone got the same?
  12. Case closed! Thx as usual. Uhm how come lcpdfr.com topics and stuff arent included in google search?
  13. Maybe a loud shout out from the radio dispatcher "10-13" Shots fired "Officer DOWN" stuff like that would be awesome.
  14. Okay.. So looking around the different GTA IV sites for an ELS version to suit the latest GTA IV title 1.0.7.0 I havent been able to find such! and i am now asking in this forum, wheter it´s just bad luck and we have to wait for a new ELS release? Thanks in advance. RedThunder0335
