The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Psssssst guys... those people at Police 10-13 kinda hate LCPDFR, LSPDFR, and everything involved. Like a lot. I think they threatened legal action against LCPDFR once. The last thread about Police 10-13 got closed, so you know, hint hint. Mercy mighty staff team! My hype lives on this topic! I don't want my hype closed!

Ah man, now I won't stop being at full hype until release. Like it wasn't bad enough already

LCPDFR 1.1 LAlt+P NOT WORKING!!
So happy to help! Have fun with LCPDFR!

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
I think the drivers stop for a while, then later on they try to go around if possible. A fix for that would be pretty difficult, I don't really think it's necessary

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
If I had to choose between waiting for LSPDFR and playing LCPDFR, I'd choose to wait for LSPDFR. Apparently the waiting is almost over, and will be so much better than LCPDFR. It seems that the dev team is very confident in LSPDFR, and I trust them on their claims

Why not play LCPDFR until LSPDFR is released?

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
For GTA 5? Don't think so. Replacing the entire GTA 5 map would take months to complete. There are ten's of thousands if not hundred's of thousands of textures for the GTA 5 map. Besides, I meant big changes. Not a couple of texture edits. Something like a new building at the least
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant add things to the map. I hope that OpenInteriors will open all the interiors (Pun intended) in GTA 5 someday. But adding stuff would be next to impossible

I personally like the default map too. Besides, modding the map is borderline copyright infringement (Not sure about that, I read somewhere that Rockstar won't allow map mods. Can anyone confirm?) and a big hassle. Not worth it to me

Uh oh, forgot about that Hard part about finding those textures and whatnot are that they are scattered throughout every x64.rpf in GTA 5's directory. And there are also a lot of doubled textures, so finding the right one wouldn't be easy. I imagine map mods are going to be hell to make

In theory, any texture that is used in GTA Online can be used in single player. No matter what, the textures and files are in everyone's GTA 5 files. It's just a matter of writing a script that loads those files with their respective environment. That's how the OpenInteriors mod works

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
I think it'll be sometime next week, as long as the new update doesn't shatter modding (Which it shouldn't) Sam already said that you will be able to have your lights on and no siren

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Oh yeah, that's how it's done! But I'm gonna be more of a "you-look-at-me-funny-and-I-will-call-in-the-entire-US-army-on-you" kind of cop
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Well, that's one way to handle that...
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Exactly, it's not the mods that would break (Well, most mods) it'd be the ScriptHooks. And those would probably get fixed within hours of the update
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Content updates add a folder to update.rpf where the new items and their components are located. They don't touch anything else. They especially don't fool with game components such as script handlers. Plus, Rockstar didn't announce any patches so my guess is that everything will be fine
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Smiley face indeed It's not a patch, it's a content update. It's one of those free dlc's that have new stuff to them. And those have to be manually downloaded (I think). As for it's effect on modding, mods should be untouched. The update will only add content, not change content. Some OpenIV mods may be tampered with, but I guess we won't know anything until the update is released

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Yeah, I meant mod. But who knows how far LSPDFR will be when other games come out. For now though, all we really have is LSPDFR
-
The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Sorry to hear that. I'm pretty sure that the wait is nearly over, and will certainly be worth it. LSPDFR will probably be the closest thing the actual police work in the virtual world. There will probably be no better police simulator

Speaking of release dates, Sam dropped quite the hint on another topic. Which topic you ask? We'll never know (Tip: Check his recent posts)

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
'Twas a terrible joke, wasn't serious. Although I'm fairly certain that my mouse buttons are looser, I definitely did something to it

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Dude, you don't even know. My refresh button somehow turned into dust. I've gone through like 4 mouses. I NEED HELP!!!

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Depends on what you mean by "done". If you mean just the coding is done, then it is not stable. The mod has to go through the coding process, the testing process, and then the bug fixing process in order to be "stable". Chances are that LSPDFR is not done yet

ALT + P not working
Your missing some dll's. The ones you are missing are for GTA 4 itself, so you need to reinstall GTA 4. I advise deleting your GTA 4 directory completely (Including LCPDFR), and then installing GTA 4 again. Then download LCPDFR 1.1 again and install it using the automatic installer. And make sure not to use xiveless and dsound at the same time. Only use one (I advise using dsound). I hope this helps, tell me if it worked. Have fun with LCPDFR!

It's not done. And even if it is it isn't stable enough for a public release. Why would they make us wait? Cruelty? They're way too good to us to do such a thing
