i also run the game as an administrator by right clicking on gtaiv icon and den click run as admin. but the problem appears after i download lcpdfr folder, is there anything else i need to be downloading like a patch or somethng?? the instructions are east to follow but after i download lcpdfr i gett the error msg that gta has stop working.

hey i dont know wat else to do, i followed every instruction, every video. i reinstalled the game.downloaded the requirements for lpcdfr. i cut off the read only on the gtaiv root folder by right clicking then properties. tell should the dsound.dll be in the gtaiv root folder or the lcpdfr folder, cuz its presently in the gtaiv root folder. i down loaded the diagnostic tool the game and the tool was working fine until i downloaded the lcdpfr program then it gave me the msg gtaiv stop working and diagnostic tool stop working. if this problem sound familiar let me know please.

lololol ok ill restart it. when i click to start playing it says gta4 stopped working.

ok i ran it, and its giving me the sme error msg g17 media IV diagnostic has stop working. and it checked 5 requirements : 1 cpu supported 2 RAM supported 3 .Netframework 4.0 installed 4visuualc++redistributable installed 5 gtaiv detected and after them 5 the error shows up.....

yea but i restored it but stil getting gta4 not working. how do i get the game to run i followed evry step yu gave me.

ok i ran the dianogstic and its says the ASI loader loader not found

ok thanks the ew version was installed. now its saying error dsound.dll . an i read where someone said to delete that but the game still gives me that error. i feel closer to were i was before and i really appreciate the help.
