Yea i have had that happen in the past witch is annoying how you can play in offline mode but still need internet i have read that if you downgrade to the older version using 3 files from your back up that the game still things your on the latest update but i tried it the other day and it was trying to update it straight away so im not to sure

yea thats what im worried about so as soon as i get 0.2 working im just gona take my internet out each time i launch Gta V and ill just update when sam an the team fix that (i have retail version btw so no auto update) and on a other note, A huge thank you to the whole G17 team i have been playing sense gta IV days and this mod is amazing still cant get over how well 0.1 has been running for a first release, also to the community of modders taking LCPDFR and LSPDFR to the next level .If the updates to gta continue to be a problem maybe its time for G17 team to make a standalone version hahahaha
