  11. That's a bit of a generalization, don't you think? (Considering the 6990 and the 580 are essentially on the same level performance wise - give or take a couple fps in some games)
  12. Sorry for a bit of a bump on this one, but despite what others have said in this thread, I am going to put the blame on the CPU. A C2Q running at under 3ghz is not fast enough to keep up with a 5970. Think of it as two men rowing a boat, one 8 feet tall and jacked and the other 88 years old (okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration :P.) Obviously, they aren't going anywhere fast. If you're desperate to improve your performance, ditch the CPU and mobo and grab a i7 or a Bulldozer chip (when they come out)
  13. Sorry buddy, but your graphics card is built into the motherboard, so you can't upgrade it. If it (the laptop) supported an MXM slot, then sure you could, but unfortunately it doesn't.

  15. UAC is disabled, but I'll try it. Also, I would like to add that I have installed both C++ 2010 Redist. and .Net Framework that was linked to in the F.A.Q. Edit: Disregard that, I tried running as admin, and got the same problem. Then, just for fun I tried again just running normally, and the game started up fine. Odd, I guess it fixed itself? Thanks for the quick reply though :)
  16. I just re-installed EFLC, updated it to the latest (1.1.2.0), installed this mod and the Simple Native Trainer. When I went to start a game, it loaded for a while, and right when it seemed I was about to play, it crashed to my desktop. Included is the info from the diagnostic tool. Please help!
