  1. Your welcome. ;) Enjoy the mod!

  3. Considering the file size is more than 4 GB, I would assume you would need to copy the mods files into the game directory. EDIT: I also did some looking around through the screenshots too, and the mod even replaces the mini-map, and the full map in the pause menu as well.

  5. If you have an external HDD, it would be a good idea to back up your game files, just in case. Then, if a mod-apocalypse happens, just restore your backup ;) But if you cant back it up, it would be hard to just delete it, since you will most likely have to overwrite some textures.
  6. I haven't personally used it, but it should be fine. It shouldn't mess with any of LCPDFR's scripts. I think it re-textures the scenery and alters the handling of vehicles.
  7. Good Luck. Hope it works for ya.
  8. Okay, try taking xlive.dll out, and double-click on the lcpdfr installer. When it progresses to the installation options with the checkboxes, deselsect dsound, and select Xlive. The xlive that comes with lcpdfr should work. Games for Windows will not work so long as xliveless is installed. This is why you will not be able to use multiplayer while you have it in the game directory.
  9. Yeah, I have this problem too, It isn't much of an inconvenience to me, but hailing a taxi IS a relatively reliable way to get from one place to another very quickly.
  10. After downloading it, just drag and drop it into the GTA IV installation folder. Also make sure to start the game with LaunchGTAIV.exe as administrator.
  11. Forgot to specify that. Oops.

  13. LCPDFR Should start when you press ALT+P. Although it appears that you don't have an ASI loader in that diagnostics report. dsound, or xliveless should work, make sure they are for version 1.0.7.0. I personally have problems with dsound.dll, so I use xliveless. It works, but there is no online gameplay when you have it installed. Link is below. XLiveless: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=388658
  14. I had this problem before, when I had dsound.dll in my GTA IV directory. Mine works well, I did the following: 1) Took a fresh copy of GTA IV and installed 2) Patched the game to 1.0.7.0 3) Ran the RAR installer to lcpdfr 0.95 RC2 4) Ran the LaunchGTAIV as an administrator. I had no other mods installed, not even SNT. Try that and see if it helps you. EDIT: I should specify that I installed lcpdfr with xliveless, not dsound.dll

  18. Great, Thanks guys. I will do that. +1 to all of you :P
  19. No, I only have one now. (This one.) I want to link it to my game to record data, but I don't know if I can do that without reinstalling the mod.
  20. Hey, my humble new community! I installed LCPDFR to my computer about a week ago, and I am loving it. I have a simple question, which will be answered easily. When I installed the game, it asked me if I wanted to link my account, and I clicked Next, ignoring it, because I used my Facebook, and I wanted to link it with a separate account. Is there a way to link my new account without reinstalling the mod, or will I have to run the installer again and type in my credentials? Cheers, and I look forward to getting to know many people here! -Megatron.
