    Hey guys, upon patching GTA IV to the latest verison 1.7.0 and installing the lcpdfr 1.0 on Windows 8.1 I have come upon the issue of loading screen hanging. I did not install any ingame mods whatsoever other than the necessary files to run LCPDFR.exe. I read the manual installation page about removing either dsound.dll or xlive.dll (I kept xlive), but it will just hang on the loading screen forever. I unchecked "Read-only" on the directory folder in my C:/ drive and ran the GTAIV.exe in "Run As Administorator". I'm just starting the topic by explaining it genrally, but should you need log files I will provide them. Much appreciated for your views. Thanks!
