lol. I thought that myself, but I wasn't lucky enough to get one like that. :P

Got pretty bored and made a video of an arrest I made. Done with the GTA IV video editor. Nothing too big. 1 clip, some flashy camera stuff. Enjoy.
  3. Could you elaborate on what you mean by "spotlight"? Is this a spotlight for your Police vehicle, or a spotlight for your weapon, or just a torch (flashlight)? There is already a flashlight for your handgun with is operated with "H". You can download ELSv6 for a vehicle spotlight (takedown lights, operated with "L"), and for the flashlight.... well, that would be a nice idea I think.
  4. Deffinately not a coincidence then, because the cab would have got quite far away in that space of time.
  5. This is true. I was chasing a light grey Primo. Lost it (I'm a bad driver). Swore a little to myself. Started my normal patrol. I'm sitting at a junction with a red light. Who else coming from my right than the same guy. It could be debated that we were always within a certain distance of the car, but it seems like too much of a coincidence to me. If it isn't infact implimented, then this is a very good idea.
  6. What are you suggesting Patrick? The ability to have drunk drivers in LCPDFR What does this entail? • AI may be driving cars in a way that makes you think they are not sober. • A new option for pulling somebody over would be "potentially driving under the influence". • THe ability to use a breathalyzer on AI, to find out if they are drunk or sober. How can you spot a drunkard? • If they are on the street, walking, then you may see them falling around quite a bit. Their walk will be dodgey and they may even start fights in the street. • If they are driving, they may be going too quickly, too slowly, swerving, and in some cases, causing traffic collisions. Arresting a drunk guy will be annoying as hell, won't it? Indeed. That is why I would ALSO like to introduce drag Drag? Yes, drag. What does drag do? Drag allows a player to actually take a hold of a "ragdoll" AI (Or another player, if multiplayer becomes a part of LCPDFR), and take them whereever they want. It would simply attach the hand (or hands) of the officer onto either: • The neck •The arms •The waist Of the suspect and take them (normally) to their Police vehicle. From here, you can do the usual Numpad 6 for seating, or Numpad 9 for frisking. Want to know what I think of your idea? Yes I do. Please tell me.
  7. One of the very cool key strokes for LCPDFR is the CPR command (ALT + M). This performs CPR on an injured (or in some....I mean most cases, dead) person. There are a few things about it that I dislike however: • You are guarenteed to successfully revive the person. There is no element of chance or prospect of failure • When the person is revived, they spawn on their feet, rather than getting back up. So my suggesstion is the following: Have the CPR have a more realistic effect, by not guarenteeing the survival of the casualty. This could also be quite interesting for "My Crime Stats" (Number of times successfully performed CPR, Number of times Unsuccessfully performed CPR) In the event that you DO revive the casualty, they should slowly get back to their feet, rather than just spawn back on their feet. Thoughts?
  8. In that case I'll include those, but for the time being I deliberately let them slip out of mind. I'll mention them as they come back to me.
  9. Thank you very much. :) I do have alot of ideas for the mod, but I'm filtering out the: • Impossible • Pointless • Contraversial stuff for now. I will come up with others and post them in seperate threads for critisism. :)
  10. "Stand down! Code 4!" Allow me to give you an example of when this would be useful. You've been in a police chase with a willard. The driver has flipped his car, and is about to do a runner. You taze him, and proceed with the arrest. Happy face. However, your fellow officers, who were assisting you, are now hell-bent on murdering the guy. As you can imagine, you aren't going to be able to do anything with the guy when your guys are shooting him in the face. I suggest a key stroke be implemented to ask your officers to "Cease fire","Stand down", or just to "Go away". This would allow you to arrest the subject quite easily. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You know what I'm talking about" Ironicly, I dare say you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, so allow me to explain. When pulling over a vehicle, you can tell them: • Their car is not roadworthy • Their driving was reckless • They were speeding I suggest you add an option entitled "other". In order to allow the Police officer to still have dialog, you won't be asked to "please specify". Instead, the officer will simply say something along the lines of "You know why I stopped you" or "Do I even have to explain?". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thoughts folks?
