MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Starting from the first step...help please! :)Do you run Windows 7 on your new Computer?
Whatever I listed below you might just want to Google and download
So what you need to get started is you will need to download the
What is needed to start the download of LCPDFR:
- .NET Framework 4 Full Profile
-Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable
-Legitimate Copy of GTAIV - Which you should have when the game arrives
-Games for Windows Live Redistributable 3 Which will download when you start the game after you are done downloading GTAIV/EFLC.
So you might just want to Google those and get those in your PC. The purpose of doing that is for enabling and allowing LCPDFR to download. Although you can refer to for more help. Trying doing all of right now or after you download your game.
FYI:
LCPDFR will just automatically be placed into your Scripthook folder in your GrandTheft Auto 4 Directory after download. For more information on this, you can go to the directory AFTER you download GTAIV and it is properly installed: Computer > C: Drive > Programs (x86) > Rockstar Games > Grand Theft Auto 4 and in there you will find all of your modifications and modded files. But, regardless of that, your Vehicle Mods/Weapon mods and some other mods will NOT go in GTA4 Directory but will go into SparkIV/OpenIV which I will give you more info later.

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Starting from the first step...help please! :)It is very confusing rather than complex for beginners. But, I'll show you once or twice and you will get the hang of it. Read my 1st Post up there in the FYI section to answer your question.

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Starting from the first step...help please! :)And yes, as Justin said, it is required to install LCPDFR. If you don't have those, then you cannot continue your LCPDFR Download. Here, just and just click "Next" until you reach a window where you can see the green "Checkmarks". If they are ALL Checked, then you don't need to do what I said above, if some are check and some not, then just download the one that has the Red X on it.
Ah darn it, sorry for the Double Post! I didn't realize it until after. Sorry!

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Starting from the first step...help please! :)Nice video found, Avrohom, I suggest you refer to this video on how to import car mods and download sparkiv. Its very simple once you get the hang of it. Hehe, and for your info, every file you download of car will have .wtd and .wft. Always 2 files.

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in ELS-ready VehiclesJust go to gtapolicemods.com, and look for the car you want and read the statement of it, some will say ELS enabled and some will said non-ELS.

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Broker-Dukes LCSO ChargerHey Dhruv, how do I import the skin to one of my Vehicles? I forgot how or maybe I don't actually knew how. I know your suppose to go to the .wtd file and click on edit, then what?
Edit: And can it be on a Police cruiser or the Police Patrol?

MyNameisYoon reacted to Sharp- in Complete PacksWhat are you referring to? Are you looking for Police Car packs or something?
More details please

So I just downloaded the More Liberty v3 mod, to have more peds and vehicles in the game.
The readme in there didn't tell me much where to put the 2 files, so where do I put the Popcycle.dat to? And where can I put the Filelist.pak?
And if you guys are familiar with this mod, does it slow down your gameplay or use up a lot of room? Just for my info since my PC is not really good.
