  1. UPDATE: I actually resolved this issue myself by doing a manual install and using xlive.dll. If I use dsound.dll I get a weird error. Either way, it's working now.
  2. Just to be clear, my game isn't crashing. GTA 4 runs perfectly fine, and it's the latest update. When I start the game I get an error message in the upper left corner saying LCPDFR can't load scripts. I have attached the log files as needed. What's strange, is that inside the LCPDFR.log file it says this: But, the SlimDX.dll file does exist, and it's in the GTA 4 root folder where the installer put it. I also ran the diagnostic tool, and it claims everything is fine. Any advice?
