Officer91149 reacted to GravelRoadCop in Check out ELS for V!Emergency Lighting System V by @Lt.Caine
ELS CVPI - @Bxbugs123
Release Date : Not confirmed
This video demonstrates two of the newest additions to ELS : Hands-Free Siren and Pattern Scan Operation. With safety as our goal, ELS V offers two very important features that is designed to enhance driver safety on the road : "Hands-Free" mode Keep both hands on the wheel, both eyes on the road, and you're still in full control of ELS sirens. No more eyes off the road while fumbling for the siren control with one hand ! Turn On/Off and access all four siren tones in 1 click. "Pattern-Scan" mode Respond with emphasis on the road, this activates all available flash patterns in a cycle. Let drivers know where you are.
IMPORTANT!
Please be advised that the ELS depicted in the video is far from the finished product and people should not expect final quality of the program and treat it only as a minor sneak peak + a chance to help us make the ELS better by providing feedback. The video is not meant to be a teaser, or to evoke high hopes from the members on the forum, and the audience, but rather to help you understand where the program currently stands right now, and how far we have left to go in order to deem it as a finished product.
The testers have opened access to the alpha version of the program for testing purposes only and want supporters to be able to see what they are supporting. Playing the alpha might be frustrating and tedious due to the bugs and work-in-progress content. There will be BUGS ! This is important because we do not want viewers to think they are seeing the final product when we are still just in alpha development Lastly, do not ask for a release date. It will be announced when it's ready. -
Officer91149 reacted toDeactivated Memberin Check out ELS for V!Bunch of useless videos. Where are my damned halogens and rotators?
-
Officer91149 reacted to GravelRoadCop in Check out ELS for V!Yes. ELS has it's own integrated Traffic Control System. The sirens will move cars directly ahead of you forward when the right conditions are met. Some driver will react differently to your siren tones, and air-horn intensity, so make sure you use all four available siren tone options. ELS will take control of the cars directly in front of you (with range of about 40m forward). This is very useful at intersections when all the lanes are taken up.
Rest assured, ELS will have LAPD spec headlight flashers, hide-a-way system pattern and light bar patterns. Your LAPD models will go nicely with ELS :)

Officer91149 reacted to PNWParksFan in [WIP, REL] Better EMSQuick update: still working on this mod, it's gradually coming together. Most recently have been working on the AI to coordinate keeping track of all the injured peds and the responders treating them. Also making some improvements to the driving AI to prevent the issue of units driving up to the scene at top speed, then slamming on the brakes and sliding into everything. Now they'll slow down when they get close and drive carefully up to the scene.
I've also pulled all the scanner audio needed to report the different types of injuries, and to say what type of unit is responding and from where. It'll even let you configure custom audio for each vehicle you specify, so if a fire truck comes it'll say "fire truck is en route code 3", but if a lifeguard is the first responder it'll say " life guard is responding" instead.

-
Officer91149 reacted to Pipeline in Check out ELS for V!I agree with this wholeheartedly. A few car modders have even said they specifically will make both ELS and non-ELS cars when the mod releases. Not only that, but we've already got quite a lot of car models for download on the site right now, and none of them are ELS enabled because it isn't out yet. Just because one person doesn't want to use ELS cars doesn't mean the mod should be delayed, considering how many *cough* including me *cough* are (im)patiently waiting for it.

Those are bxbugs' cvpis. Those cvpis have the CA steady burn lights. To turn off the steady burns you need to turn off component 11
