I can't stand playing FP and not being able to glance at the speedometer (Since Rockstar's stock FOV is complete shit). The one I was using doesn't work with LSPDFR sadly, and I'm guessing it doesn't since it uses Dsound.DLL as its loader, is their currently any recommendation's or playing the waiting game again? :)

So many people getting their panties in a bunch, just relax and wait for it. Pointing out every new thing on the site isn't necessary, LSPDFR releases, when it releases. Just as EVERYTHING else in this world. It's not wrong to "anticipate" something for its greatness, as I check this forum daily for updates but I see people with multiple posts that are practically identical, relax guys. Its only the beginning :).

I googled a few times and haven't found one yet, looking for some different fun as the title says. Need a good city builder that you can destroy with say, tornado's,hurricane's, or floods exc. Relevant along those lines. Appreciate the reply's :)

I would suggest using an older ELS, as the newest ELS makes my game crash within 5-10 minutes I reverted to els V6 on EFLC with every car and (1&only) motorcycle modded I believe and I dont even experience crashes now, around 40-60 minutes literally I encounter a tow ticker script crash in which I must reload my mods via in-game but I mean in terms of longetivity for the loss of being able to change in which way your lights flash (in a more realistic term) is superior for me at this moment. If LCPDFR launches for GTA V I will buy it for PC, but I have it for 360 atm and thats good enough for me.

If you getter done let me know! CTS one of my fav cars next to a Chrysler 300. Slicktop or not, 1 would be amazing.

I've looked through 100 pages of cars and can't find 1 cts, I did however find a a civilian one here --> http://www.gamemodding.net/en/gta-iv/gta-iv-cars/40344-cadillac-cts-v-coupe-2011.html. Could anyone possible point me to a download or possibly create one? As of now I literally can't find 1 Police CTS, even if its Coupe or sedan. I just want a cts :P

Which I'm hyped about, Unless I missed something recently. Oh yeah def try it if you want the LED's them self to flash brighter. On the contrary I didnt do it on a fresh install. I may need to try that. Thanks for the heads up.

Aye, my computer will run dual nvidia gtx 280's (stock hp blackbird) but one of them stopped working. I plan on replacing it within the next month or so they are really cheap and once I do, I'm sure I'll be able to run ENBs then. But this what I stumbled upon is completely separate from ENB's or any other mod. Editing the text line merley makes the lights flash rather then blink.

Dude amazon, I got GTA IV complete edition for 5.99$ (steam code), after purchase you have a code in your games library, open steam register the product and you can download IV and EFLC, or you can get just IV for 4.99$. AMAZON FTW!

Haha yeah I installed 3-4 different ENB's, making like 4-5 copys of my EFLC folder so if I messed up I could just move to the next 1 pre-edited. I finally gave up and just happened to stumble upon sgt's cycle and man Im enjoying the game alot more its not even funny. I'm also using the real life time sync (Dont know the name of the top of my head) so when it gets about 10 pm here its dark in the game, and his mod really brings the game to a more realistic style in terms of darkness in allys and even between street lights.

REMEMBER TO BACK UP ANY FILES BEFORE EDITING THEM, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR FILES/FOLDERS. Go to line #1 to skip rant --> Ok so I finally found after tons of google searches on how to make your els lights brighter, my 2 options was to download an ENB or edit the visualsettings.dat (Via # Other emissive lights), which on the contrary in my position neither worked. The ENB just made my game look ridiculously bright especially at night, the roads literally looked white. Tryed several ENB's all did the same thing. Editing other emissive lights I noticed only made the SURROUNDING'S brighter when my lights flash I.E on the road/side of buildings. The higher the setting the larger the area was covered by my flashing lights. So I speculated for abit trying to tweak with the ELS.ini and the ELS config coming to no conclusion. So I googled for hours trying to find a decent fix, around 4 hours later, I went back into the visualsettings after all my speculation and decided to tweak a intensity line, and this is what I came up with. Under "# car.siren.color2" there is a line that says "car.siren.intensity" I have mine set at 50 right now so it looks like "car.siren.intensity 50.00" Doing this changed the way my lights flashed from single LED's blinking together to the light actually look like its FLASHING. (I assume making it to high would intervene the flashing and make them look ugly and bulky, like I said mines at 50 and I havent set it any higher and to me its perfect ATM, also on the contrary if ENB's dont work for you either, try downloading SGT KANYO's - Realistic Time Cycle mod @ '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> if you want Night to actually look like night.) Originally it was at 10.00 I believe and I couldn't handle the way the lights looked. So happy as a little princess I came here to share this simple change that can improve the game "ALOT" By my standards atleast :P. #1 Open your GTA directory > Common > Data>Visualsettings.dat and find # car.siren.color2 (You can do this 2 ways scroll down till you find it or press CNTRL+F and copy/paste the hashtag in it VIA notepad editing) And right below that will be car.siren.intensity 50.00 (<--- my values) > and simply change the value to a desired number. Hope this helps. ^_^! Edit: Bolded the necessary text line to edit.

So reverted modded cars to original via gta iv vehicle mod installer and now its working like a charm, just need to fine better compatible cars I guess. can mark as resolved/delete, thank you.

My EFLC download finished today (steam) Ive been using IV but wanted to switch it up and get those extra cop cars. I Reinstalled my mods I was running on IV By reinstalled I mean Re-extracted from the original zip and placed into the proper location mainly the scripts folder. (I didnt drag and drop the mods out of my gta iv folder before u ask) Mod List: VDH Police helper VDH Mett/Coroner VDH Towtruck Flaslight (Flashlight spotlight mod) VehicleSpeedControl PSS (SpeedReader) SpeedoIV ELS V7 and several ELS cars (But none over 3mb) and a FirstPerson Mod. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LCPDFR Diagnostics tool says the install is working correctly I've also tryed the manual install and same thing happens. So weird it works on my gta IV fine, I have attached the necessary files Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. - Run GTA Via LaunchEFLC, click play (offline, using Xlive.dll) Click play on TBOGT, everything loads in fine and I can play the game normally, but soon as I hit ALT+P to load LCPDFR it says "welcome to LCPDFR head to a police station to get started" then the game crashes. EDIT: Did a maual install and was able to make it inside the police station when I went to choose my character it happened again, Ill Upload a screenshot of the error and updated logs
