  1. @Albo1125 I notice that myself and quite a few others are having an issue where anymore than one add-on vehicle causes game crash. i'm not sure if it's related to an update or something. I haven't seen anything in these comments on how exactly to correct this, or what I have seen hasn't done the trick. I've tried redoing the meta and vehicleconfig files, updating the game version and rolling back, updating the gameconfig, but still can't figure it out. I haven't tried a fresh install as i'm saving that for last resort.
Hands down my favorite vehicle pack featuring Valor lightbars. Love the way the ELS is set up on them, it is so unique from any other Valor pack that I have tried. And the rest of the lighting package, not to much yet not to little. Would love to see a Tahoe and/or a Charger in the pack.
  2. I don't know much about the ELS config, but I use RadianceV with JeffFavignano's custom visual settings. If you look at any of his recent videos there's a link to it. RadianceV was a good start for me but I found that the lights themselves were WAY too bright, plus the brightness off the walls still was terrible. So I replaced the visiatsetting.dat with his and boom, problem solved on all fronts.
  3. Hey everyone, quick question about AI behavior. (Ok, not so quick now that I proof read this) I've noticed that when the AI have their emergency lights activated they also always have their sirens on as well, as long as the officer is in the vehicle. For example; When arriving to a traffic stop backup call while the AI officer is sitting in his vehicle waiting for you to arrive his sirens are on, when he gets out the siren stops. We deal with the person and the AI officer gets back into his vehicle and sits there, again turning the sirens on as soon as he gets into the vehicle. Same goes for the ambulance and firetruck using the better EMS mod. I call EMS and both the firetruck and ambulance respond. Let's say it was just one injured person and the fire truck arrives first. When this happens the ambulance will arrive and the paramedics will sit in their vehicle waiting. As long as one of them remains in the vehicle, again they keep the siren going the entire time. Is this something that can be corrected by changing a setting or it that just how it is. I don't know if this has been asked before or not, but I don't really want to look through 46 pages of comments to find out haha
  4. Hey everyone, I've been working on converting the uniform of the police peds to my own local police department. Things were going great as I added stripes to the pants and changed the badge to look like ours (even though our officers don't wear them on their shirts). But then I attempted to add the shoulder patch to the arms. I just cannot for the life of me get the placement or scale/size right. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to do this? As fun as it is to resize it, look at the model, resize it again, look at the model again, rinse and repeat, I figure there must be a better way.
  5. Agreed. I was kind of sad to see that the Explorer didn't have the same amazing ELS setup as the Taurus. Don't get me wrong though, still gets the job done. But just not as awesome as that Taurus.
I have never been so happy with a vehicle pack in my entire life. Even with all the ELS vehicles to hit this site since these ones have been uploaded, I have yet to find a single vehicle that I am willing to replace them with and I think I would be hard pressed to find one in the future either. As as added bonus I found they even readily take some skin packs already available as you'll see in the screen shot (I don't know which skin pack this is off hand but it should be easy enough to find). The lights not only work great and have a great lighting package, but they also just look really good. I find there are vehicles where when you turn on the emergency lights they just don't look too great. These ones however get the job done, and done right. Interior = Perfect Exterior = Perfect Lighting package = Perfect Please sir, may we have some more?
I like it! Finally a nice pack so that my fleet can all have matching light bars and lighting. A couple small issues, but definitely not game breaking so to speak. Still going to rate 5 stars even with what i'll show below as they are fantastic models and drive well. Not sure what everyone is talking about with the handling lines (I am only using the CVPI, Taurus, and 2013 Tahoe, but they all drive very well.) I Did this review with version 1.1.0 Lighting package = 4.5/5 The lights look great except for a couple issues, both of which are not major by any means. The only addition I would suggest is to have lights on the side of the push bars, as well as flashing white lights on the light bar itself, and this light package would be perfect. Not a mobile seizure inducing machine, but at the same time not to few lights, just right The first issue is on the light bar, the end diagonal red lights appear to be more orange and don't match the color of the rest of the red lights. Perhaps it's just the type of light head being used making it look slightly different or I am to picky, but I definitely notice it. The second lighting issue is that the coronas on the push bar don't line up with the light heads and are lower than them. And they are actually reversed as well(red corona is on blue light head side and vise-versa). Vehicle textures = 4.5/5 Exterior wise these vehicles look fantastic! Super polished job. Interior dashboards look kinda bland and could use some sprucing up, but not bad. The only "issue" I found is with the CVPI. The dashboard textures appear to be applied to the front seats? At first I thought it was just a jacket over the back of the seat and paid no attention. Once I did a first person patrol and got a closer look though, then I definitely noticed it and had a good laugh at what looks like the temperature settings being on the driver seat. Vehicle Models = 4/5 Absolutely love the back of the 2013 Tahoe with all the equipment and the seat organizers on the passenger seats. I had to take a point away from this category however due to the trunk of the CVPI and Taurus being unfinished. (I actually didn't get a look at them since the 1.1.0 update so this could be fixed, but I've done enough typing and don't want to go back to look and re-type all this haha) Otherwise really nice models. Templates = ?/5 Haven't had a chance to play with the templates yet. Overall I really like it and look forward to more!
Oh baby... The lighting setup on this truck is amazing. And the fact that the white lights turn off when no one is inside (including AI) just adds to the awesomeness that is this truck... Now i just have to figure out how to change a couple of the rear lights to amber and it would be perfect for my game.
Absolutely worth the 5 stars. The model is fantastic. The only thing i would like to see (and keep in mind this isn't anything wrong) is more lighting on the backside.
  6. Now all we need is a good ped model/texture.
  7. Do you have a link to the model? I tried using it on this one, but the textures don't quite line up just right. It "works" if you're not too picky, but it would be nice to have the model you used.
