Need some help with vehicle modding
Alright, so i'm really confused. I totally understand GTA IV modding, whatever mods they are, vehicles or LCPDFR or whatever. I watched Jeff Favignano's old video from this past summer of him installing LSPDFR into GTA V and I followed him for the most part until he got to the vehicles. I installed a police4 undercover vehicle successfully, but two others didn't show up right in my game, the models were the old models, not the ones I had put into GTA V/x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf, which were two Sheriff models. I clicked on the models and they showed the modded versions, but in game they were incorrect and showed the original models. Now mainly the reason i'm here is because when I looked at how to install them and in the readme files included, it says to install the vehicle files in somewhere "Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\" Then it says something about some kind of carvariations file and a metadata file, but every car model I have includes those files, so do I combine the content in each of them or what do I do with those? Why does it want it in the DLC folder, why don't I just replace the model in the area I mentioned above? Some other vehicles wanted the models in the "mpluxe" folder in updates. I just don't understand how vehicle modding works in GTA V I guess, if someone can explain how I can install the vehicles, that would be great, or just link me to an article or video that explains it, thanks.

Ending Pursuits.
Good idea. Although sometimes when I allowed lethal force with 1.0c with F8 the cops managed to end it themselves by showering the criminal with bullets, you can always try that.

Assisting AI
This is used in a game called Enforcer: Police Crime Action, a lot like LCPDFR, at the same time very different. In that game, you can ask nearby citizens for suspicious activity, in the game's exact words, "Ask for Suspicious Activity," and I agree, that would be a great idea. Probably not that difficult, since they already talk when they walk by a drunk ped. I support your suggestion :D

Investigative Mode? MVA? Helicopter Mode?
So I was wondering, what if you could be a detective or FBI and investigate murder scenes or something like that? Or would that be too much or not desirable enough to be added? Another small suggestion, MVAs, vehicle accidents. Why aren't those implemented by now? Is it too hard to spawn cars and maybe freeze them, or would that be too much of a FDLC job or too boring and drawn out with the reports? And finally, I know it's already possible, but I think there should be a Helicopter Mode of some sort. By this, I mean, where you can fly and patrol that way instead of in a car or boat. I have tried this before in a pursuit when they were in a different borough as me and the spotlight turned on if I was close enough, so it's kind of already working, but role playing as Air Support would be pretty cool for me. What do you guys say?

What I'd like to see added to LCPDFR
My guess is LCPDFR staff are probably busy enough already, plus the mod itself as it stands is large enough and difficult enough to install for most users already and those mods/add-ons would just make it worse, although I totally support the mods, I just think it's best they stay independent of LCPDFR.

LCPDFR ASI Loader/Mods Not Starting Help
Actually that didn't work and the integrity verification just reverted my sound and vehicle mods so I just ended up reinstalling GTA IV, it was too confusing and I needed to learn my lesson to back up everything before modding xD

LCPDFR ASI Loader/Mods Not Starting Help
Yes I am using the 1.0d hotfix, I just verified the cache's integrity and it told me, "7 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." That must be my issue! If not i'll just reinstall the game but i'm sure that was the issue. I must have deleted some files I thought were unimportant or something. Thank you all for your help!

Just tried it again. ELS lights froze and did not work, LCPDFR did not open with ALT + P, and the trainer did not open with F3. No I did not edit any of the key configs, i'm really puzzled :/

This should be it. Sorry I didn't put it in a spoiler, I don't know how to do that. Need anything else?

LCPDFR ASI Loader/Mods Not Starting Help
Hello, I am experiencing asi loader problems, I believe. I have been running LCPDFR 1.0c on Windows 8 with a legal Steam copy of GTA IV, not EFLC, for awhile and I do have the necessary files for LCPDFR as it has ran just fine recently. I believe I have been running it as an administrator, if not 1.0c would not gave worked. However, I just installed LCPDFR with the automatic download and now when I enter my game none of my mods work. By mods, I mean my Trainer will not open, Alt + P will not start LCPDFR, and ELS v8 that I have does not work. I do have two ELS enabled police cars from 1.0c that I did not revert to the original models. I uninstalled LCPDFR 1.0c about an hour ago and installed LCPDFR 1.0d with the automatic installer and those problems occured. I have studied YouTube installs and I just don't know what I could have messed up on. I apologize if this post is a repeat or in the wrong section of the forum, I have read your rules listed before posting this and have adhered to them. I just need to know where I should put xlive.dll because it is not working in my root folder. If absolutely necessary, I can always uninstall the whole game and reinstall, but I believe this could be an easy fix and that takes about 8 hours. I should have made a backup :/ Here is my AdvancedHookInit file. Can you get ELS without LCPDFR?
Firstly, sorry if this is bad in any way. By that I mean it's already answered, badly formatted, anything like that. I'm new here. So I have a pirated GTA IV right now, but i'm planning on getting the real deal this Sunday, so please don't hate on me for being pirated for now. Once I get the real deal i'll get LCPDFR. I tried getting ELS awhile ago without LCPDFR, but my game wouldn't run. It would ask if I let it run and all, I think that's my Norton Internet Security, but it wouldn't go past that. I checked my Task Manager and it wasn't a Process or App there. I have the necessary files for GTA to run set to run as Administrator and in Compatibility mode for Windows 7, that shouldn't be it. I do not have LCPDFR, as I said before, that is probably the issue, but i'm not sure. I did have Simple Native Trainer installed, so maybe Scripthook or one of those files stopped it from working? Here are my specs: Processor Intel® Pentium® CPU 2030M @ 2.50GHz Video Card Intel® HD Graphics Memory 4.0 GB Operating System Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit If you need anything else to answer this, just ask.
