  1. Especially when there is no player limit - it should work with about 60k players when set up correctly but I cannot imagine that server. Also, server works on linux with mono without any problems.
  2. Oh, but you can create NPC. it's in early development stage but allows for walking and running. Implementing shooting and basic AI shouldn't be a problem.
  3. Yup! But I always dreamed to be able to write gamemodes in C# for gta iv :) Also I think synchronization is more 'snappy' but a lot more accurate than in original mp, even shooting is both client and server synched so if you're sure you hit the player ped he will suffer damage. It's fun to create this, so why not :)?
  4. Take a while and look at upcoming beta 1 release gameplay! With full shooting synchronization, vehicle damage, player damage and client side code execution! More features to be announced! MIV is multiplayer modification for GTA IV with synchronization written from scratch. It doesn't use built in multiplayer. Gamemodes are written in C# and modifyable, it resembles same ideology as sa-mp, but with C#. Release soon, after several bugfixes and preparations. I suppose I will release beta 1 tomorrow. If you are interested in playing in that release now, contact me and attempt to build from source.
