inbetweendays reacted to PJR4015 in Lundy's sick ass gta v modsThat's a shame. Good quality civilian cars seem to be somewhat sparse for GTA V, so any addition is welcome. Even a simple setup like this without whitewall tires and a 2-tone paintjob is fine.
And what about the Monaco and the Fury? Are you planning to only release police versions of them too?

A CTS1 all red Twinsonic.
An all blue 12EF Twinsonic.

inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsO ya, I've added new license plates for almost every vehicle I'll be uploading. All of my cars will use one universal carcols.ymt along with a vehshare.ytd for extra plate additions. State vehicles will have state diamond plates, local and county vehicles will have octagon plates. Along with variants for each vehicle to spawn. So highway patrol will use block lettered diamond plates, LAPD will use script font and block font octagon plates, and so on.

inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsThe Plymouth Fury is making its comeback at 109k polygons as of now. Sadly at the cost of Solo's 440 engine, but we have Carface's 440 Chrysler block fit into the Fury which greatly reduced polygon count and still looks fabulous in the cruiser.

inbetweendays got a reaction from Hastings in Your best LSPDFR screenshots?New PSU, GPU, monitor... Now I only need some more RAM and then I finally upgraded my old not-so-great PC.
Still figuring out what style to go for (and which visual mods to use), but anyway, here's four brand new screenshots.

inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsSo if you noticed, all of my current cars use coronas. I've gotten the farthest I can in terms of perfect halogen lighting. Comparing it to the common ELS style and the new ELS halogen style I went to create. Here's the difference.
Old ELS style:
New ELS style:
And this isn't just for halogen lights. I'll be testing this later for LED lighting which will actually work even better if you don't use rotary lighting. This also affects the distance at which lights are rendered, making lights literally the best as they can possibly be.
The system utilizes carcols.ymt edits which are quite simple, actually. Each siren node; 'siren1','siren2' is a steady burning light. ENV reflections are generated by which ever direction you choose along with the colouring. By placing the siren node inside an ELS extra, the siren will flash with the extra as it's toggled. This way, ELS has total control of the patterns and flashes of both the standard extra mesh and the siren corona.

inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsI won't be wasting any of my time with any modern cars, that being 2006+ CVPIs and anything alike. Two friends are already covering plans I had made for the future and they're doing a spectacular job at it.
@steinberg4145 For his upcoming LASD slicktop CVPI
@Izick For his upcoming LASD CVPI
I can assure you dorks that their work gets my seal of approval and will be up and exceeding my standards of approval. <This means I'll actually use their car mods in MY GAME!
I'll be sticking to vehicles mainly 2005 and back (for the sake of creating my own car of course and some sick ass MX-7000 CVPIs). I'll probably do some modern style police ped models, but for my car mods, I'll be sticking to what I'm signature for. 20th century.

inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsFirst picture of the CHP Monaco!
Unsure if I'll do ELS or not. Either way, I plan on having a custom carcols.ymt for if not all, most of my coming car mods. Utilizing the game's default coronas with the functions of ELS. Yet this car doesn't really have much to function for ELS.

-
inbetweendays reacted toDeactivated Memberin Lundy's sick ass gta v modsI've been doing it again.
I'll release, I promise.
I've decided to do the 1991/1992 and the 1993 version separate. This way I'll release one sooner and it'll be more organized (I suppose)

1974 Dodge Monaco 440 Police
This won't be a DEV or unlocked release, but I'll do a few versions. CHP, the Bluesmobile, and possibly a Hazzard County Sheriff car, too.

I promise you all 100%, this will prevail within a week. There's still some parts I'm working out and ideas to put in. Also a possible video too :D
It'll be worth the wait. The Caprice is shaping up amazingly. Here's the latest picture.
