  1. Yeah you're right, I read over them since they weren't in the actual readme itself. That's my own fault, sometimes I get a little complacent haha. I know I have the newest version, and it's working for me. Have you experimented with other vehicles models than the one you're currently trying to use? Also, look up at the rest of this topic and make sure that Rob's issues weren't one of your own. If none of the above help, then I don't know mate. I'd suggest making another thread entirely in the GTA V Support section to see if maybe someone more experienced can help you, of course they might always find their way here.
  2. Actually both of the packages that I installed didn't say anything about that at all. The latest package I installed didn't even specify the file directories for the models themselves, but I already knew how to do that so I was good. I guess it's because the mod creators assume that the players already know what they're doing, which isn't always the case. I didn't even figure this out through a readme, I just started file browsing and found it. As flustered as it makes me that they don't specify this, the models are fantastic and I'm just happy that I got it working for both of us now. So I can't complain. But at least now when someone else has this same issue, they can figure out how to fix it.
  3. The pack_default folder. And no, just the .xml file if there is one. There should be, if it is an ELS vehicle.
  4. Rob! I just tried something that worked for me. Alright, so apparently this is common knowledge and you may have already tried it, but this is what was wrong. First make sure you've downloaded the latest version of ELS, easy mistake to make! Second, if you have, check the vehicles that you downloaded. Inside of their respective folders is a file, ie; police.xml and it's about 5kb. Third, that file is not meant to go into the same folder as the models do. It is meant to go with the ELS. So navigate to your installation folder, then to ELS and then to pack_default. You'll want to place all the .xml files for each vehicle in that folder. The reason for this is apparently the xml tells ELS what to do with as far as the lights go. I hope this fixes your issue, it definitely did mine. --- Additionally for you Rob --- Download a visual effects mod such as Radiance V to enhance the brightness of your lights because even if you do get them working, they will still look bad without that mod.
  5. I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I do. Not sure about him.
  6. Having the exact same problem myself ^
