  1. Well...I went back to standard GTA4 and for whatever reason it's decided to work now. I even have ELS in and so far it's working. This can be marked as solved (I don't see how to do it) and thanks LMS :)
  2. Hi! Thanks for the suggestions. It's safe to delete AdvancedHookinit? And no, I don't have ELS. I'll run through it a couple more times with models pre-loaded and see what happens. No, my computer's not low end. Not best of the best, but I have an 8-core AMD FX-8320 and 8 Gigs of matching RAM with an AMD R9 270x graphics card.
  3. Hi LMS, Thank you for the suggestion and the mod. I love what you're doing here which is why I want to get it to work so badly. I would volunteer to help but I'm a web developer, not a software developer. :( Okay, I've tabbed out multiple times in the past and it's returned focus without issue, still crashes though. I just changed to windowed mode and it seemed to work but then crashed when I requested a prisoner transport. Now, I've tried this both preloading models and not preloading models, but I removed all vehicles from the transport section in the .INI except police which I'm driving myself. Forum search found that most of the issues around this are caused by ELS which I'm not running so there's no solution there. Doing this seemed to work! I was able to complete 2 callouts, 2 traffic stops and multiple investigations (one callout was homeless people). Sadly, on the last traffic stop when calling for transportation the game crashed again. I've attached my most recent logs for review. I greatly appreciate your help. Hopefully I can get this running properly soon!
  4. Still crashing in single player in minutes. I've tried many many things. The same error shows in the advancedhook.log as is attached previously and now in EFLC which i've tried. I tried attaching the minidump but i'm not permitted to upload that kind of file. Does anyone have anything they can offer?
  5. Let me clarify something, as my friend pointed out it may be misconstrued. This is happening in single player, not just multiplayer. This can be confirmed from the lcpdfr.log file : In network session: False
  6. Hi everyone. My friend and I finally got around to trying this out, even got in a multiplayer game, but after 5-10 minutes we black screen and the game stops responding. We are on almost identical hardware except for the graphics cards and hard drives. Here's the lowdown on our situation: Steam version of GTA4 and EFLC (we tried both). Current versions, not cracked, ran as administrator. All dll/asi files are in the proper folder, as the mod works after Alt+P, just crashes All dependencies are installed. Game crashes whether or not Alt+P has been enabled. Game DOES NOT crash when the mod is not installed. These are fresh versions, downloaded yesterday, and the only mod installed is LCPDFR 1.0c Automatic and manually installation of the mod has been tried I've browsed the forums here, checked for other solutions which we have tried or does not apply to us. System specs that are applicable: AMD FX-8320 Processor 8GB RAM (2x4GB matching sticks) Windows 8.1 See attached for most recent logs which was after a fresh install again of both the game and the mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.
