Yeah, nice idea! But they are also pricey :(. I have just picked a 750Ti with 2GB of VRAM. I downgraded the monitor so it's about £670 GBP now. I can only hope that the prices don't rise until Christmas XD

Hey guyz! So my PC is utterly and truly a piece of garbage, low spec. (6gb ram (ik the RAM is ok, but overall gaming performance is rubbish.), 2.4ghz i5 and yes... intergrated graphics :/) there is a heap of dust in it. It is also hard to unscrew it (the bottom covers the whole laptop). And for the goal - it has rubbish cooling. Even without the dust. Yes, you guessed it, I need a new PC. I have found the specs I customized (pcspecialist.co.uk). Will this be enough to run GTA IV with LCPDFR, about ten extra scripts, CryENB v2, a car pack and ELS cars properly at a good framerate with no fps drops/lag? CPU: Intel quad core i5 @ 3.2ghz GPU: Nvidia geforce GTX 750Ti (2GB VRAM) HDD: 1TB Mechanical @ 7,200 RPM Power supply: Corsair 450watt RAM: 8GB Corsair Motherboard: It was an ASUS, but it was a great one :). OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have attached pictures of the specs on the site itself. Thanks for your help! My budget is £650 GBP. Hey guys, I need urgent help. 2 days ago, my installation was working fine. Today, I install the Big City Life mod. Then, I kept pressing random keys to see what keys were binded to the mod (no lists online). Suddenly, the screen kept spamming (at the bottom) Brake lights mod ON! and Brake lights mod OFF! All of the trainer keys got mixed up, every single one said 'Not in car, or no saved car', even when I was in a car. When I pressed Ctrl+Num1 to fix the car, It fixed it, but then the car turned green. Now when I press F3 or F4 to open trainer, nothing happens. I can't do anything. Please help me, I really want to help. And one request? Can you guys actually reply? Because I had the pop in textures prob and no-one replied for 2 months or more. Anyway, I solved it. Any help would be appreciated. -cheesedude

Hello, First an important note: I am aware there is another thread about this problem, but none, absolutely NONE of the solutions worked for me. And I didn't want to thread hijjack. So it has been a few weeks now, and I am really frustrated. My textures keep popping and and pooping out, and after I press ESC in an unloaded area everything vanishes. When I exit the safe house, on the first mission, it's fine. (The real reason i bought GTA IV is because of LCPD:FR) So i press ALT+P, go to police station and all that, but by the time i'm in the car everything is slow and invisible. Even the peds stop walking. I have tired a commandline but no luck. And, on my actual shortcut I have 2 arguments: -nomemrestrict and -AVAILABLEVIDMEM 6.0. I cannot remove these, or I get the infinite loading screen. And my specs are low, my laptop did get hot but I managed to run it smoothly with a few ELS police cars. My specs: GPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000 Processor: Intel Core i5 @ 2.40 GHZ OS: Windows 7 Home Prem x64 RAM: 6.0GB GPU Memory (Max.): 1696MB My commandline.txt: My mods: .net.dll scripts: ALPR in-game overlay (liks dead on lcpdfr.com, I think) Bravehearts Policing script indicators script LCPDFR Loader vdH Tow service vdH PoliceHelper ASI Scripts: Simple Native Trainer Skopro Bomb Mod Chikamaru Real Traffic First Person.asi (can't remember real name, but it wasn't RIV, it was sometinhg else... but it worked XD) ELS.asi I have LCPD:FR 1.0c installed. My LCPD:FR plugins: Wouters Callouts Callouts+ My modded cars: police: A low poly CVPI, with an arrow board lightbar (I didn't have this problem when i installed this car, it was the first one, and my first love ;)) police2: A dodge charger, it was a good one, but it may've been high poly since it crashed the game when it got fired at. But I uninstalled it, didn't fix anything. So I re-installed it. police3: None. police4: None. policeb: None. FBI: Chevy Tahoe Unmarked (didn't cause the problem) Polpatriot: A Chevy Impala PI. (didn't cause the problem) Pstocktade: Ford Explorer Utility. (installed it when the problem was present) Nstocktade: Mercedes Sprinter Police Van. British. I know mose brit cars are high-poly, and i tired un-installing it. No luck. Noose: A slicktop CVPI. (installed when the problem was present, and this one is low-poly. Whew!) I downloaded an MTA bus, which was REALLY REALLY REALLY high poly. Uninstalling it didn't help AT ALL. It remains un-installed. I am now using the default bus. That's it. I spawned an FBI car, then I dorve along. I pulled over, got out, then saw a police car but it had no light bar at all. But there was a takedown light attached. Then i got a massive amount of lag then it crashed. The who game crashed. Any help? I have attached AdvancedHook.log. Update: in ELS.ini i changed Ai_Els_Sp = on and Ai_Els_Mp = on to Ai_Els_Sp = off Ai_Els_Mp = off and now i can see the original beacon style light bars on the police cars. But when i get into one they vanish.
