  1. I got it working! I started from scratch and put things into the hierarchy differently and it loaded right up. I'll test it a couple more times and keep you guys updated.
  2. I went ahead and got copies of the info you asked about. The polygons are at 24,533. What is the highest you should really go? And if that's too high, how do you lower the amount? As for my hierarchy, here's a snip I took of it:
  3. I'll check my hierarchy because I think that's the issue, but just to run through everyone's suggestions: 1) It only happens with this one vehicle 2) The crash happens when I spawn the car, the game just closes itself - no errors. 3) And how can I tell if the polys are too high for the game? Thanks again!
  4. Yeah, I did. But what could cause this? There has to be an underlying reason.
  5. Hey guys, I've been playing around with the model I put together in Zmodeler and once I was happy with it I exported it and loaded it using OpenIV. Problem: when I spawn the car in game using my trainer, I crash. How can I fix this issue? All help is appreciated.
  6. Hey guys, So, I've been playing around with zmodeler and I'm almost done with my first car. Problem is, I have no freaking clue how to export it as a .wft. Right now I can save it as .3ds but that won't help me load it into GTA IV. Therefore, my question to you all, is how do I take my model and turn it into a .wft file and make the textures a .wdt file? Thanks for the help!
  7. Actually, I don't want to get off topic, but could help me figure out how to export it as a .wft? I have no problem saving the model as a .3ds but I need to import it into GTA IV using SparkIV or OpenIV.
  8. I actually haven't tried yet. I realized that I'm not 100% sure how to export the .3ds to a .wft so that's another thing I'm working on.
  9. Hello everybody, I'm dipping my feet into creating models and so far it's going well. No issues loading it into the game of anything, and it does everything I want it to do. The problem comes in when I try adding lights. Right now I'm using these: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> When I import them into Zmodeler I get the following error: I really have no idea how to fix this. I've searched multiple forums and Googled it plenty of times and no one seems to have this exact problem - I've only seen questions relating to different shaders. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd really appreciate some help. I'm very tech savvy, but when it comes to modeling I'm not too knowledgeable. Thanks!
