  1. I've just finished my North Carolina Highway Patrol liveries as well as a matching uniform. Of course, these aren't done to match their exact real life counterparts. More liveries on the way! I've updated the livery to have the correct Permanent License plate that NC uses on their vehicles for those who are that in depth with the little things.
  2. Thanks for showing me these pictures. I just noticed that I need to reposition the State Trooper on the hood. Although it's a simple decal set, that arch over the rear wheel is difficult to perfect. Also, I'm going to be making both the silver and the black versions of the schemes.
  3. No problem, Raven. Here's my thread so you can see the progress on the car. As it says: 90% done with the car. Going to be moving onto the uniform tomorrow.
  4. I know which mod you're speaking about. They simply reskinned the policeman456 cop model. I was referring to the original Rockstar State Trooper model having the DeltaHawk of Arma belt. If you do know of one, please point me in the right direction. =)
  5. I'm surprised no one has put that belt on the State Trooper model yet.
  6. I'm not lucky enough to have a rig with enough muscle to handle High-Poly cars and I do not like using ELS due to it's obsession with crashing and invincible cars. So, for all of my Rockstar-Created, non-ELS car fans, here's photo's of my current project based off of NC Highway Patrol. Although the vehicle belongs to Lt.Caine, the skin was created entirely by me with a modified NC Highway Patrol Crest. The vehicle skin is 90% complete and after I'm finished I will be working on a NC Trooper Uniform skin. I've just got some minor tweaking and resizing to do.
  7. Hey, if you're aiming for a North Carolina State Trooper theme, I'm currently working up an NCSP Livery that will work for any modded Buffalo that allows Liveries (Lt.Caine's NLSP Buffalo for example). I'll do what I can to make a uniform skin as well. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune and started to like the State Trooper's cars and uniforms over the years.
  8. Im hoping someone makes a wrap around go rhino type bumper for you to use on these cars.
  9. This car actually looks great as a police cruiser. I wasn't expecting this. Great work!
  10. PLEASE Make this non-ELS. God, this Buffalo is gorgeous.
  11. Hey, guys. Thanks for the help. It's unfortunate that I don't have the know-how or programs to fix the dirt layer flaw that he left, BUT with the trainer and advice you've given me, cleaning the car is a simple alternative that I can deal with. Again, many thanks.
  12. I have no knowledge of how to use Zmodeler and I know there aren't many moderlers who are willing to take requests. I guess, I'll have to use the trainer. Do you know one that functions well with LCPDFR and 1.0.7.0?
  13. He left the vehicle open to be futher modified. Still no possible way of correcting his flaw, then?
  14. Simple fixes. I love'em. Thank you. Quick question; Is there anyway I can change the dirt texture so it actually looks like dirt and covers the correct arreas intead of the entire vehicle?
  15. Hey, guys. I've been recently using this ELS enabled buffalo ( http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=564 ) and although it runs great so far, I've been having an issue. As I progressively play or spawn a new buffalo, the skin I had created for it sometimes shows up faded or even not there at all. Does anyone know how I can fix it? The mod status to this car is open, I just need to know what I have to do. I suspect hat it may be the dirt layer, but I have no idea what I'm doing in this ball-park. Here are three photo's to show the different levels of fading, which vary which each spawn of the vehicle. http://tinypic.com/r/35cikr9/6 http://tinypic.com/r/fktsme/6 http://tinypic.com/r/9iw70l/6
  16. Time to find someone who has the know-how to create a scripts for GTA 4. Thanks for the intel, everyone.
  17. Are there any alternative mods for ELS? I ask, because I know the Pursuit Mod incorporates it's own little ELS, though not nearly as impressive. However, the Pursuit Mod's lighting system seems to utilize the game's original lights, but also causes the headlights and tail lights to flicker as seen in this youtube video Does anyone here know how to pull that script out of the pursuit mod, know of a mod, or at least know how to create a file that can do this? [media=] . Does anyone here know how to pull that script out of the pursuit mod, know of a mod, or at least know how to create a file that can do this?
  18. Alright. I'm in the process of installing the game to have a fresh start and keep track of my mods. I'm still getting familiar with the files; Which INI are you referring to?
  19. Well, that's the thing. I run a system that can play BF3 and Crysis 2 at maximum settings beautifully. Now I can and have played GTA 1.0.7.0 with the ELS and it's vehicles smoothly, but I still crash. My suspicion is in the vehicle's themselves. When police are chasing me, I watch the radar and just before the game crashes, I see the police indicators on the radar flickering from street to street almost as if they're having trouble spawning. Other than that, sometimes the game likes to just crash; I still believe it's a vehicle spawn issue.
  20. Has anyone successfully be able to use the latest LCPD: FR with modded, ELS-enabled vehicles (Obviously with the ELS mod) without any crashes with GTA 4 1.0.7.0? I'm aware that LCPD: FR only supports GTA vanilla so I hope asking isn't beating a dead horse.
  21. Hey, when you say "Don't have an ELS vehicle in the noose slot" do you mean the Noose truck or the cruiser which files are named: noose.wtd, noose.wft?
