Hey, everyone. I decided to make this thread to answer the requests I've been receiving about releasing skins that I have made. I'm a big fan of Ekalb's unimpressive mods along with F5544 for the amazing job he's done with his DSF conversions. Because of this, my skins are created for their recognition and as a form of appreciation for their work as well as their willingness to answer a few of my requests. I hope you guys enjoy my skins as I release them. Don't hesitate to post any requests for vehicle or ped textures. For vehicles, just be sure to supply a template for the more uncommon vehicles, since I do not carry templates.

    MORE SKINS TO COME!!

\\\\\\\\\ Keep in mind that all of my skins are LCPD: FR exclusive. Do not modify and/or upload these skins anywhere else. //////////

    First Up:

DSF Skin Pack : RELEASED Please give feedback!

This packs comes with multiple schemes that are meant to work together as one fleet. I'm a huge fan of the NFS Hot Pursuit Seacrest County themes and I also like Armarillo, TX design for their patrol cars, so I combined both. I also created a fictional Liberty Highway Patrol scheme along with a fictional interceptor scheme. As a small bonus, I've converted the LC NOOSE Emergency Repsonse Unit scheme (originally made for Ekalb's Bravado Buffalo) to fit F5544's DSF Dodge Charger.

    Download:

I made these schemes to fit all of F5544's cars. I'm fixing some minor mistakes and I'll be uploading these skins as one whole pack within the next few days. Keep an eye out; I'll be dropping the link here (of course keep an eye out in the downloads). Keep in mind that these skins were made specifically to fit F5544's DSF vehicles. You may experience texture problems when trying to use these on any other vehicle models. Respectfully I do not include the vehicle models with this pack. To download the vehicles visit F5544: http://www.lcpdfr.co...er/15429-f5544/

North Carolina HP and NOOSE Emergency Response Schemes RELEASED!

Here we have a past release of skins that I specially made for Ekalb's Bravado Buffalo Interceptor mod. The North Carolina pack comes with a skins for the generic Rockstar Alderny State Trooper uniform that is matching, but not an exact replica, of its real world NCHP counterpart. These skins were specifically made for Ekalb's Buffalo model. You may experience texture problems when using these on other models. Respectfully I do not include the vehicle models with these files. To download the Bravado Buffalo Interceptor, visit Ekalb: http://www.lcpdfr.com/user/9747-ekalb/

Driver: San Francisco Bay Area PD Skin Pack RELEASED!

    Download:

I only saw it fair to create a pack based on Driver: SF's Bay Area PD. So here it is. I've added a few extra decals to the schemes, because I felt the BPD's original scheme in DSF was a little plain. I didn't put anything that strayed too far from the original schemes. Enjoy! These skins were made specifically to fit F5544's DSF vehicles. You may experience texture problems when trying to use these on any other vehicle models. Respectfully I do not include the vehicle models with this pack. To download the vehicles visit F5544: http://www.lcpdfr.co...er/15429-f5544/.

If you completely read through this thread, you would have seen that Ekalb had already released another version of the slick top vapid with another set of lights behind the windshield, thus making six lights total. He hasn't done anything about the rear deck lights since no one has addressed it up until you. I'm not sure what Ekalb will do since he has dubbed the slick top complete and already has a few cars in the works as well as requests standing by; not to mention he has classes to focus on.

  3. I wouldn't be requesting this if I couldn't do it myself.

I've been trying to use the Armarillo CVPI skin on the DSF model, but I've been runnin into a problem where the textures aren't sitting correctly on the doors. I've been messing around with the template on photoshop with no success. Does anyone think they can get the skin to work?

  4. Kind of surprised no one mentioned the strobes mod available here to add realism without using ELS:

Which was updated so A.I. cars now use it too! No crashes, no headaches. Get it!

At least you used you're head and brought this up. I personally do not like ELS. "It adds realism." Perhaps it visually adds realism, but a car with flapping doors that's indestructible is far from real in my opinion. The stobe mod adds just enough spunk to make the emergency vehicles satisfying. Not to mention the crashes caused by ELS. Switch to V5? Correct me if I'm wrong, but V5 doesn't support AI to use ELS, so you have AI patrol vehicles running around with bugged lights and while V6 fixes that, it still causes a lot of crashes. I stick to in-game modded cars (Ekalb's Buffalo Interceptor for example), and I enjoy the game just fine. Now it's just a matter of finding a few who want to play multiplayer.

    Hey, Ekalb.

I finally figured out how to get all of the textures working with Zmodeler. I was able to reposition the Whelen Liberty where it needed to go on the Vapid and I was able to position the siren lights correctly. The car ran great in the game, however, the light bar doesn't render at a certain distance in-game. When I get close enough, it appears. In other words; The car's look like slicktops from a distance with flashing lights floating above them.

Any idea what it could be?

I've just finished my North Carolina Highway Patrol liveries as well as a matching uniform. Of course, these aren't done to match their exact real life counterparts. More liveries on the way! I've updated the livery to have the correct Permanent License plate that NC uses on their vehicles for those who are that in depth with the little things.
