I'm sort of new here, and to GTA IV and have only been playing this for a few days. I had to share this (wish I had it on video!) STORY: I started to do a traffic stop on a cab that nearly sideswiped me. Before I could hit my shift button to initiate the traffic stop, I got rear ended by another car. Well for some odd reason (Probably GTA logic?) the driver of the car that rear ended me gets out of his car, walks up to my cruiser, pulls me out and starts punching me. I quickly withdrew my weapon and fired a couple of shots, a few hitting him. He then pulls a gun and starts shooting me. Next thing I know, some random pedestrian starts shooting too. I was outnumbered, and died. All I could do was laugh. These people have some SERIOUS road rage. I just had to share this. What's your funny stories?

I'm looking for a Las Vegas PD mod pack, however, I'm not finding any to my liking. If I seem picky, I apologize, however I prefer mods that actually show damage upon impact, gunfire, etc. I hope I'm not the only one like this lol. If anyone has, or can link me to, the Las Vegas police pack that fits this criteria, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, skins would be cool too!

Yeah i've read that already. My issues are occuring in single player, however. Not as bad as multiplayer, though. I'm still crashing like, between 30 to 45 minutes of playing.

Mostly traffic stops, I'll pull someone over. There's been a few other times it'll be in pursuits. It's random.

Wow. We couldn't even play 20 minutes without crashes last night. We finally gave up. I'm wondering what's causing it. Hopefully someone see's a hint in the error logs.

Hello! I purchased GTA IV/EFLC bundle on the Steam sale a few days ago. One of my friends pointed me to LCPDFR last night. First, I must say this is probably the most genius mod ever made for any game. I do wish the mod was more stable for multiplayer, but I do know you guys (and girls? Maybe?) are working as hard as you can and I've donated to help support this project and hope to see it get even better! I'm also new to GTA IV. Never tried it, so please have some patience and be detailed/specific in explanations. I do have very high computer (and some Lua coding) knowledge, so I'm not a tech noob. Now for the issue. I've installed LCPDFR for GTAIV/EFLC and it plays fine for a random amount of time, then suddenly, crashes. I mostly play using EFLC due to better performance, however, still crashing with the box "EFLC has stopped working" blah blah generic windows crash blah blah. Logs are attached I do not have any car mods, skin mods, NOTHING. This is a COMPLETELY generic game. The only mod I have is LCPDFR and that is it. Computer Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 8GB DDR3 RAM 6 Core AMD Athlon II Processor 2.73 GHz Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 7770 I can run the game full specs with no lag/latency nor crashes. Just with LCPDFR. I've played Single player for hours with no crashes whatsoever.
