I wonder.. Would taking the LCPDFR Files from the GTa iv and placing them in the EFLC do the trick? If the files in GTAiv work they gotta work on the other one, right?

I guess computers work differently. Especially windows 8 computers. I would crash every time I go into loading screen until i edited the compatibility of the game. It helped me.. Maybe it can help this guy?

Actually, I might have a theory.. Did you ever set your compatibility to windows 7? I assume you're using steam unless you got a fake signature? I might have some ideas to throw at ya if nobody minds.

If this is a 'crash before game even starts' complication... Did you try making sure your compatibility is done correctly? Steam seems to mess that up sometimes. The retreat to GTA 4 from GTA EFLC Seems to have been the solution to this issue. Thanks for those who took time to read my obtuse situation! EDIT: I am going to see if going away from EFLC and migrating to normal GTA will fix this issue. Who knows? It might work! Hey guys! Eeh.. Having an issue with LCPDFR Lately. I am one of many who have experienced random crashes throughout the game, the funny thing being it happens during LCPDFR When backup is called, the game crashes. In some shootout scenarios the game crashes too. It's a typical 'game is not responding' crash and no I do not have ELS. I have re installed this game two times and have manually installed the mod after uninstalling the auto install files. Kinda running out of ideas! I do run two vehicle models and a couple weapon skins, and I have the router plugin. If any other info is needed let me know?
