  1. Yes, but the reply mentioned specifically copying the MP3s. If you were to copy and paste links with a playlist of say 30 songs or less, this script is useless. But I have large playlists so this does all the work for me, depending what playlist I want playing in my car.
  2. GTA4 does not support playlists, only links to folders/mp3's. What my program does is parses an exported playlist and creates links (.lnk's) in the GTA folder.
  3. If it's a playlist of say 300 songs in a library of 10,000, might be difficult to navigate to each individual MP3. Plus, that takes up filespace :D
  4. I searched but couldn't find any program that will take an iTunes playlist and have just the playlist on Independence FM, so I wrote my own application using Turing and VBA which does just the thing. All you have to do is open iTunes and find your playlist you wish to hear in GTA 4, right click on it and Export it to a .xml file anywhere (preferably your desktop). Now extract the .zip file attached below, edit gtamusic.ini and type the GTA User Music folder (usually located in Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/User Music). Then put the full path of your iTunes export on your desktop (or wherever you saved it, make sure to include the filename). Now run GTAMusicAdder.exe and after 5-10 seconds it will create shortcuts to your iTunes playlist music inside of the GTA music folder. It may give errors if you are missing iTunes information such as the song name or artist name. I hope this comes in use to someone other than myself. Also included in the .zip is the source code, you'll need Turing to re-compile it, which can be found for free on Google. Edit: Also uploaded the file here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FL9VALWC
