In a situation when the feeling suspect is running away with a lethal weapon I think the best way to handle the situation if you shot him in the leg because you can't risk it if he will start pointing the gun at you as soon he faces you.

after am done with university am directly going to apply for the NYPD, it's definitely going to require knowledge, fitness, and brains to join one of the biggest police forces in the country.
