Strange, because it DOES for me and it happens quite regulary... any ideas what might be the problem ? And yes, I did check if I did any mistakes whilist installing and absolutely sure I didn't make any... :confused:

Is this script stable ? It works "randomly" for me... sometimes (most of the times actually) it crashes without any obvious reasons... Still that's a great idea and thank you for this mod, I really hope it'll get better and better with further development.

That CPD caprice looks DOPE ! Btw, all of this too big stuff really "got me". It sure is a big ass car, but man, it can't be that BIG. I've took a closer look on it in game and it looks quite big compared to GTA IV stock cars. I've seen a lot of bmw e38 7series (as an example), yet they both are around 5100-5300 mm long. I'd say it has to be resized by few percents... damn we're getting on your nerves there... : taximan5, have you tried increasing "detail distance" as well ?

I've got this wierd glitch on the cars body : Also, is there no way you're going to make the lightbar breakable ? There are a lot of police cars that have breakable lightbars and I didn't have any problems with them. Would you mind telling me what kind of problems may occur IF the lightbar is breakable ???

Yes !!! Great ! But oh well, here I am with my questions/complaints again haha. There are good news as well anyways, the dirt looks great now ! :) There are 2 questions that I've got. First. Why have you decided to go with a non-transparent light ? I mean I can't see the rotor inside of it spining for example (perhaps it should be that way ? I'm sorry if I'm missing something here). Second. I've already asked this, but you didn't answer for some reason. Why haven't you made a version with a light on the roof as well ? I'm sure you've seen those pictures from that "oldsmobile" dude at GTAF - [this] or [this]. I am really excited about these releases, I know I've said this a crap load of times now, but there is nothing I can do about it ! I've waited for "carface's" caprice pack for IV for a looong time. Can't wait for the taxi and a police version ! :thumbsup:

Hmm, alright, I'll reinstall it later, I'll let you know if something has changed. Just to let you know, the bug is still there. I've even tried installing it on a nother IV isntallation with p. 1040 but that didn't help. I'll try the 94 version now. Incase with 94, the dirt is present on sides, but it's far from "great" IMO. Seriously, am I the only one here who has these glitches ? Btw, are there going to be any interesting extras on the police and on a taxi version ?

Greatly ? (pictures below), also I think the dirt texture could've been replaced to a "more higher quality" one. About the last 2 pictures, in both cases cameras are way to low placed, driving in a third person view I can't see anything inthe front, I always have to keep moving the damn mouse (the 4th picture is with an ingame view of the hood camera).

Better dirt would've been great and there is some kind of small dent on both sides above rear wheels. Me likes in overall, expecting to see cop versions soon !

Hmm, I gues that's true. I haven't seen him for a while at gtaf... man, so many great cars got left behind... I really hope he will return. Anyway, it's great that you've got a hold of this caprice, I waited it for such a long time now. Even tho I don't like these kind of situations, when the car is being converted without authors permission, I gues there is no other way since it's not possible to contact him. Good luck finishing this one ! Can't wait !

Looks like that's a Caprice by "bigfoot2003" (well that's his GTAF nickname atleast) for SA. "poctik" converted the civil version, for some reason he never finished the police one. Did you contact "bigfoot" ?

Oh yeah babeh ! I was about to ask if there are any chances to use SPCs 1987 caprice aswell... Great news ! Btw, I was wondering if you're planing to make an fbi/detective version of LTD crown vic with this magnetic "teardrop" light, making it spawn as an extra, either on the roof or inside the car on it's dash. I haven't been able to find any pictures with LTD crown vic using something like that, but I'm pretty muchsure they did...

Well, I still hope those will get fixed, atleast those first 3 on the screenshots MUST be. lol Anyways, been playing around lcpdfr, took this picture before exiting the game. Simple, no enb, pure IV with this Crown Vic.

Oh... right, silly me, I didn't take that into consideration. Anyway, the vehicle size itself is around 6mb, when SA convertion was only 1.06 mb . Could you explain (or anyone else) why is there such a difference ? It might be because of the different extensions that both game use... hi-res livery doesn't seem to me that big, so I don't really get it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to throw garbage at you, I love you for bringing this classy to IV, I just think there are things that might changed to make it even better. Anyways, there are a few bugs : - the lightbar isn't breakable, it has no collision at all, as if it's physicly not there. - LODs look way too messy - perhaps it would be possible to update the interior textures (dashboard especially) ? They're quite old and LQ. I really hope you'll get a hold of this and will make a 1.2 of this, thanks for the work man ! :thumbsup:
