So I've narrowed my problem down to this DirectX error thanks to the LCPDFR diagnostics tool. From here though, I have no idea what else to do. I looked through the Windows Community help forums to try and fix it but after several frustrating hours, I'm still no closer to fixing it. I love playing LCPDFR and I think its an amazing mod, I just want to get back into it! Thanks again for your time and efforts. I included some screenshots of what I'm seeing, I hope it's helpful. Maybe I'm just missing something simple. Please let me know if there's something else I can provide.

Hello all, I am fairly new to lcpdfr and am a complete noob when it comes to modding so I need a lot of help. Currently...I can't get els 8 to work, els 7 runs fine. I can't instal lcpdfr at all...I get the error," failed to find a valid installation. Please use the browse option to locate your game installation." I have a legal copy of gta iv, it is activated and it works fine...I completely removed the game from the computer and did a fresh instal of it and I still get the same error. I tried the alternative download for lcpdfr 1.0c, same error. I tried the manual installation of 1.0c and it still isn't working. I have downloaded and updated .net framework 4.5.1, visual c++, and directx and I still can't get it working. Thanks in advance for your time and help!
